Episode 4 Progress Update | The Next Women

Hey, everybody.

No chart for this first update but I've been pretty busy with the work. Episode 4 is looking to be a doozy, so I'm grinding as much as I can and plan on getting a big chunk of work done this weekend like I usually do. I don't like giving updates this early in the process because there's still so much work ahead and it'll look I haven't done anything.

For what it's worth, I'm making a lot faster progress than previous episodes because I've got more experience. One of the things that takes a long time in addition to rendering is designing all of the assets. Since most of the characters are already designed, there's less of that work. Then again, there are some new locations and characters being introduced, so that'll add to the time. One new character appearing for the first time in Episode 4 took me a few hours to design because I wanted to get everything as best as I could. But I think the time was worth it and hopefully you think the same.

I'm on a good pace a week after the last release. I'm doing my usual render load and I'll have the chart up for next week's update. I'm hoping to maybe get some coding done, too.

Who's next?

While you're all waiting for Episode 4, I thought I'd update you all on where we're at in regards to the females.

Without going into too many details and spoilers, I'm planning on a harem for the game. That's far into the future but it was one of my first considerations. Your harem won't be limited to the main five women. You've already met some women you can have fun with and you've been introduced to a few other women with potential. In Episode 4, more possibly LIs will make their debut.

And that's where you all come in. The main five will all play their role in the story. The importance of the other women will be up to you. I want you to provide your input and talk about who else you want in your harem. Or maybe you want an exclusive relationship with them.

Leave comments. Vote on polls. Leave messages in the Discord. Every girl will have at least a little bit of content. But this is your chance to decide which women get more content.

Every woman already has her place in the story. I won't change how things are written on how things are going to progress. But I want all of you to have a voice in what kind of 'content' you see from the other women in the game.  If you just want to see the story unfold, then don't worry about anything and just enjoy the ride. I owe you all a chance to have your voice heard as supporters.

And that goes beyond just the women. If you have any comments, good or bad, let me know. Any suggestions or complaints, I'm always listening. I won't compromise my own vision but a little insight from all of you is always welcome.
