Ep. 3 Progress Update | Character Profile: Vanessa | Discord

Hey, everybody.

Big update news.

So, mostly everything is in order. I'm doing a couple of playthroughs and it seems to work, outside of how messy it is. Everything is in place, I just need to clean up some things like adding credits and stuff like that.

Then there's that last bit of coding. It's just a last bit but it's really tricky trying to figure it out, since I'm still figuring this stuff out. It might take some time but I have to do it now because the problems will compound in future episodes. I plan on working through the weekend on it and into next week. No release date.

Character Profile: Vanessa

For Vanessa's design, I figured I could get away with the blond hair since she's a model. And I spent a decent amount of time finding the right model because I needed her to be pretty. It's hard for you to tell, since half of her face is covered in aviators, but I think she's good-looking.

Her story, like all of the others, has already been planned out. I think Vanessa's story might be the most concrete out of everybody's. I know exactly where it's going, so when stuff happens with her, you can assume that it's been planned from the beginning.

I know Vanessa's a polarizing character and a lot of people want nothing to do with her. And that's fair. I will remind all of you that Vanessa will play a huge part in the story. Every character in terms of a relationship is optional, and Vanessa won't be any different.

I have the next few episodes storyboarded and I think Vanessa's storyline is pretty enjoyable.

That does it for the five main girl profiles. Hopefully, they're a diverse enough cast so that you like at least one of them. More girls are still on the way.

In the Discord, you can harass me about release dates, ask questions about the game, make suggestions, report bugs, or just talk. What you can't do is harass or give anybody else a hard time.
