Episode 3 Progress Update | Character Profile: Kate

Hey, everybody.

First thing, it's the end of the month, so if you don't want to be charged on March 1st, make sure you cancel before then.

Animations are nearly done. I think they came out well.

I made a change to the progress chart and separated writing and coding. They're kinda two different things with what I'm trying to do. To put it simply, the episode is mostly written outside of the ending. But I'm adding some new code and features for Episode 3. This also involves going back into Episode 1 and 2, and the prologue to add some other things.

February went by a lot faster than I expected it to but I think I made decent progress. The animations took long but they're good practice and learning.

No timetable but I'm trying to keep to my schedule of Episode 4 and 5 coming out sometime this year. That means Episode 3 would come out around April if I kept a regular pace. We'll see what happens though because I can't guarantee any date.

Character Profile: Kate

Kate's design was kinda tricky. I wanted someone older because she's supposed to be a MILF/cougar. But I didn't want to age her just for the sake of aging her. It took me a few tries to come up with a final design for a woman that looks older but doesn't look "old." The important thing was to make her attractive but differentiate her enough from the other potential love interests.

We've all played games with an older MILF LI whether it's a teacher or a mother or a boss. I really want to separate Kate from the other girls in AMFA, so your relationship with her is going to be different in a lot of ways. I can't get into anything without spoiling it but it's going to be slow. She's a professional and she's going to maintain that for a long time. Whether or not you want to romance her is up to you but even without a romance, I think her story will still be interesting.

I get a lot of work done over the weekend and this weekend shouldn't be any different. I'm plowing forward and I'm hoping to have some big announcements at the start of next week to begin March.
