Starting at the end of December, I'm switching to monthly, upfront charging. That means you'll be charged as soon as you sign up AND on the first of the month following, regardless of when you signed up. That means if you're still around, you'll be charged on January 1st, regardless of when you pledge, and the first of the month going forward. I'm planning on switching right around Christmas time and I'll keep reminding you until then. Basically, after your initial pledge, all charges are moving to the first of the month.

This is to prevent people from signing up and canceling. Stick around. Cancel then come back in January. Cancel then don't come back at all. I understand either way. Do what you gotta do. I'm trying to be fair to everybody.

Now that that's out of the way, I've got other news: an update on Episode 2. For that, I made this handy-dandy chart.

When the bars are all filled up, it means the episode is done. Simple enough, eh? I figure the chart is more useful than me vaguely stating where I'm at.

There's some good news and some bad news when it comes to Episode 2. The good news is Episode 2 will be slightly longer than Episode 1. The bad news is, because of that, it'll take longer to make.

As far as production goes, the bulk of it is the renders. It takes a lot longer than I realized. Time flies when you're rendering. Barring any complications, I should be finished with renders soon and I can move onto animations, which are a great, monstrous beast to tackle.

As I get closer to finishing, I think I can predict when it might be finished so I'm setting a soft deadline of January. Does that mean January 1st or January 31st? Well, if it's up to me, it means the end of February (ha). We'll see how things go.
