Snow Plow Lite Episode 643
Added 2020-07-01 02:30:08 +0000 UTCFor years listeners have been telling me how much they hate my long boring intros and my stupid annoying voicemails and my horrible taste in music and they claim that they would sign up for Patreon if I'd just release only the pranks and nothing else. So that's what I'm attempting today, just to see what you all think. I've recorded the entire show, including the long boring intro and the stupid annoying voicemails and I'm hoping to have that posted before tonight is over, or at least tomorrow morning.
If I were to do this, I probably would stop posting the regular sized Snow Plow Shows on Patreon because it'd be double content and that would get annoying on podcast feeds. You'd just have to subscribe on snowplowshow.com too. Wait, but then you wouldn't get the high quality sound of the full show like you do here. I'd have to post them both. CRAP. I was hoping this wouldn't make extra work. So I'm just trying to figure this all out. What do you all think? Would you hate having both the regular SPS and the "lite" SPS episodes on your feed?
Maybe I should make a poll here about this. I definitely would like everyone's opinion in the comments if you have one. I'll go ahead and post the full episode of 643 on here too until we figure this out. One upside is that you'd get the smaller episodes quicker than those freeloading non-supporters since I usually edit the pranks first. A downside might be that you wouldn't get to hear the opening prank or any pranks I happen to play in the intro section or the voicemails. And there won't be any background music at all in these smaller episodes. Please tell me how much you love or hate this idea. Your vote matters. PLA 2020!

2020-07-02 12:17:19 +0000 UTCI approve of the idea of getting rid of the intros and voicemails, however Iβd hate having every show posted twice on this feed even more. Too much scrolling for Patreon as it is and this only exacerbates (ex-zas-sir-bates) the problem π

2020-07-02 00:31:12 +0000 UTCMusic, voicemails, etc bring a welcomed variety to the show and it's nice to hear others in the community with the voicemails at the end. I think instead of a bunch of short shows, maybe do an omnibus episode once a month with just calls from the past month for subscribers. It'd be way less work on your end, I'd think.
