Today I mailed out about 50 issues of the latest PLA zine to the $20 and over supporters and a few other people, so if you have your current address in the Patreon machine, be expecting that soon. I'm going to address some more tonight and mail out a few more tomorrow, for some of the $10 - $15 supporters who have been around for awhile. I really wish I could send these to every single one of you, but I just don't have $275 to spend on postage right now.
But it's okay, because attached to this post is the PDF file of the zine so you can read it right now, and even print it out, and see exactly what you're not missing at all. I bet your printer is nicer than mine, so the color ink won't be all streaky.
This will be the first time since 2010 that the Phone Loser Monthly zine has been made in the half-page format, instead of just those single sheet newsletter things I used to mail out all the time. I think I'm going to stick with this format from now on and I might try to do at least a couple of these per year. But that's what I always say, and next thing you know you won't see another issue until 2025. But I mean it this time!
I've really been into zines lately. There are a couple of stores nearby that carry independent zines and I buy way too many of them. I'm also working on a completely separate zine project with some other people that should be finished up in another week or two. I don't know if I'm allowed to say exactly what it is, but the PCN zine I did in 2015 should give you an idea. That link also lets you download all the previous PLA zines.
One other small bit of exciting news before I finish up this post - I'm working on episode #2 of a podcast I haven't done since 2014. Remember that old Telephone Falls podcast I made once? Well, I'm making another one. It's halfway done, I've gotten other people to send me voice clips for it, and so far I like it. I'm using some of your names in it without your permission, so please don't sue me for that. Don't worry, Xander Fett is the only one that I actually slander. I bet that will also be finished up in another week or two.
Luv,
Brad
