KawaiiKon Paintings. "Alola also means Good-bye.
Added 2019-04-03 10:27:04 +0000 UTCAs I finally finished my paintings to sell at the conventions, I wanted to share a little inside on how and why I painted these.
As you all know, we're all moving onto Gen 8, The Galar Region!
So I'm going to miss the Alola region because it really felt very at home for me.
As some of you might know, I moved to Hawaii 3 years ago, right around the time that Pokemon Sun and Moon came out. I was very excited because the player character was kinda like me!
We moved, met a whole bunch of new friends, and since living here, I've loved my new home in Hawaii ever since. So playing the game felt like I was really in the player character's shoes, travelling around, learning new things about the island, it's lore and history, and so much more!
Alola and Hawaii feel like homes to me. So as we move onto Sword and Sheild, I feel real sentimental about leaving the Alola Region behind.
These were done in acrylic paint!
It'll always have a special place in my heart!
