The girl who is first eaten by the predator is resistant to digestive juices. Girls who are next preyed on by predators are not tolerant of digestive juices. However, both girls were excreted from the predator safely without being digested in the predator's stomach. Researchers are investigating why the two girls were not digested at all in strong digestive juices.
