A little update for everyone!
Added 2023-07-11 15:36:28 +0000 UTCHey there all!
Today brings a bit of a 'quality of life' update to a number of models within the Solwyte Studios miniature range. As last month began the work of, now you can see some of the results of that.
All the files in every single model in the Terran Warhosts, Skjalos Armoury, Aventine Dynasties, Legions of Khurybah, Taekolta, and Kingdoms of Mikaelhelde (and most of the Secutor Constructs) have been repackaged into the new consistent name format, with folders separated into files that are unique to each vehicle variant and those shared amongst multiple kits. This has also been an opportunity to redistribute weapons that fit on multiple kits, such as including all the Nyoma turrets that fit on Njassa hulls and vice versa, and uniting arm weapons across variants of similar Secutor Constructs (such as the Amalia, Amalia-Cyraxa and Amalia Phaera, and the Stykaria and Stykaria-Reaper). These have been packaged as separate files, identical across product listings, so you only need to download them once.
Particular attention has been paid to how things are placed in folders too. The Ourokos kit has been divided across a number of folders rather than just having all the pieces dumped together, all Secutor Constructs are separated into 'legs and waist', 'torso', and 'arm' folders at minimum, and all of the archives are formatted so that once you've downloaded them, you can extract all of them to the same folder so all the parts are in the parent folder, rather than in a redundant subfolder - so, when you download a lot of files in one go, you can click Extract All Here (or the equivalent for your unzipping process) and each folder will appear sorted and ready to go!
In addition a number of kits which previously had missing parts are now fully supported, however unfortunately of the number that were amended, two particularly large kits (the Guilloja Super-Heavy Destroyer and Onokya Super-Heavy Battle Tank) will have to wait a little longer for completion because their missing parts are especially chunky and complex.
Lastly, the Amalia lower engine has finally been amended to actually fit to the model. Sorry it took so long! Oh, and the dimensions list has been updated with this month's stuff too, and a more comprehensive list of confirmed supports statuses of all models in the range:
