There's some big news today for everyone in this post, so please do read at least the first section as it'll be quite important for all of you.

Solwyte Studios and MyMiniFactory
Solwyte Studios will be leaving MyMiniFactory at the end of this month.
So, the situation.
As some of you will have been made aware of late, MyMiniFactory recently made an entire month's work by the popular creator StationForge available for free, thus making all their time and expenses for that month totally worthless. Not only this, but they also did it by contacting them to ask whether or not they would like to do a free promotional month, then before receiving an answer of whether or not they wanted to, did so anyway. In response to the backlash they've received, MMF issued a statement on Discord saying that one of their staff 'made a judgement call' to do this free month, then announced it via email to a huge number of MMF emails.
I've also been recently made aware that they previously doubly messed up with The_51's project then attempted to shift the debt of their mistake to the creator themselves, and gave away at least one entire creator's back catalogue for free.
Now, for me as a user of the MMF service who's been stung before by much less severe, but equally unprofessional, issues such as my messages being ignored by my representatives, private Patreon listings (and deleted listings) being made visible to public users browsing MMF, issues with being able to actually deliver files, and a whole month's work having to be reuploaded because MMF accidentally deleted it, I've not exactly been a fan of their unreliability. This combined with the notion that MMF staff can actually go into my account and activate things that I've not given them permission to do as a 'judgement call' is no small violation of trust.

Now, following that, of course, that's going to conclude the relationship I have with MyMiniFactory, and begin a new one with Comics Games & Things, who are working closely with Garin of The Maker's Cult (with whom I'm sure a few of you are already familiar). Now, this means that there will be another library migration, however everyone who previously had access to files from Patreon as part of their subscription will have access to them as they did before, only via a new site instead. From this next month onwards, while files will not be available to purchase, they will be maintained as downloadable for customers who have previously purchased them until such time as I find a way to make them available to those customers from a different platform.

In addition, whilst Patreon-exclusives such as Oryn Tylla, the Kaliakos Nakyra Helm and the dioramas will be re-uploaded on CG&T, discontinued files such as old War Constructs and models that have been replaced by newer variants (ie. the Skjalos Regiments replaced by Slaughter Corps, the original Gladius Heavy Tank replaced by the Gladius tanks family, the original Amalia Phykon replaced by the newer version of the same kit) will not be returning to CG&T in first wave of uploads, however they will still be available to download from MyMiniFactory.

Notably, most of the files on this list, with the exception of Overlord Duna Khayalos and the Xhunite Prosecutor, have not been available to purchase for months and in some cases, years. In addition, a great number of these kits have been replaced with more comprehensive kits, so the original files will not be retained in future uploads.

MyMiniFactory Mega-Sale
In advance of leaving MyMiniFactory, I'll be putting on a catalogue-wide sale. All products will be available to purchase at 30% off using the code ANEWDAWN until 11:59 UTC on the 30th of this month.
Please note that while, as mentioned in the previous post, the entire Solwyte Studios library is going to be re-uploaded with corrected versioning, folder structure and verification of supports on all of its files, that will not be the case for this sale - ie. please do not rely on files having perfect or complete presupports at this time when you purchase them, as the level of presupports across the range is still quite patchy, and I'm still going through to verify what has supports, and what the quality of those supports is. Using the feedback provided in #the-big-issues in my Discord channel, it appears that the presupports on some files are iffy, plus there are tolerance issues on the Komygan Eidola, and an error in the Stykaria shinplates. The issues with the Komygan and Stykaria files will be corrected and re-uploaded, and each file will be updated with the new versions on MMF when it is ready.

Solwyte Studios Website
Whilst all of this has been going on, I've been developing the Solwyte Studios website, which will (in the fullness of time) contain details about all the miniatures I've made for factions present in The Promised Land. Whilst, of course, there are a couple of lines of miniatures (Hosts of Terra, Legacies of Mars, Skjalos Armoury) that I've made that aren't a focal point for The Promised Land and therefore not on the website, fear not, for they will still be available to purchase and download from the CG&T website.

Though it's not quite complete yet, since there's a lot of stuff left to add, you can find a template for how each unit will be described with the Hastaxii Praetorians and Skjalos Marshal pages with information about each unit's lore, a purchase link, a list of all included parts within the kit, approximate dimensions of the kit (or a rough average if it includes more than one model), recommended base sizes for models in the kit, and it's presupported status (not yet supported, incomplete or complete), followed by a number of renders of the models included in the kit. This information will also be included in its product listing.
In future, this new website will also include free downloads for universal weapon kits, and full rulebooks for using these units in the Promised Land, plus the core game rules and points downloads for each unit in every faction, alongside themed scenario packs and expansion books.

New Updated Dimensions List
As promised, I've also prepared a new document detailing all the dimensions for all of my currently available products, as a more tangible way of determining scale than by size comparisons in renders. This contains details about every model's faction, full product name, model type, dimension, base size, presupports status, and a folder name for products that will be re-uploaded, including versioning on each folder (though each folder will be at 1.0 as of it's upload to the new site). It also contains additional notes about the following information (but note that this is rough and subject to change, it's just so I can keep track of my own intentions):
Patreon-Exclusive - This is exclusively available to Patrons, and will never appear as an item available to purchase as either a digital or physical item.
Discontinuation Slated - This kit will be discontinued in the future at a time that has been announced here on Patreon.
Renewal Pending - This will be replaced at some point in the near future by an updated kit.
Repackage Slated - This kit will either be combined with other kits as a replacement kit in the future at a time that has been announced here on Patreon.

Note that even though a lot of the presupports say 'No' it's just because I haven't verified all of the files for each product listing are present and correct. I'm going through and checking each one as I go, but it's a mammoth of a task so this will be updated at each milestone of getting through a faction.

June Monthly Plans
Alright, well, that was a lot of information up there.
Without further ado, onto plans for this month's stuff. Now, I am aware that a lot of my time will be tied up in administrative, boring stuff, so I'll have a little less creative time than I'd like to, but I promise that this month will still see a bunch of cool stuff coming out too! The rough plan is as follows:
Skjalos Guard: Skjalos Butchers (aka proper single-man heavy weapon foot troops, wearing heavier Skjalos armour, and armed with a selection of bespoke heavy weapons).
Covenants of Astyri: Hastaxii Acheron Construct
Aventine Dynasties: Navigator Squad Upgrade Kit (additional melee and ranged weapons, command and communications upgrade parts)

Now, that isn't quite as much as I hope to make, however these past few month's I've over-promised and things have cropped up and caused a lot of delays, so hopefully I can surprise you with some extra things!

So, in a nutshell, I know that's a whole lot to take in, but you don't need to worry about any of it just yet - apart from the sale starting today, none of this will take place quite yet. Just keep in mind sales of miniatures on the MyMiniFactory website will cease on July 1.
