I don't know what the FB groups are like in the US, but in New Zealand the buyer typically sends the payment through before the games are sent by the seller, that way you don't send stuff off and never see the money if someone is trying to scam you. On the flipside there is less protection for the buyer if the game never arrives or doesn't exist in the first place...
