Patreon Rewards: June 2022

Do you like new things? And new stuff? Well, you're in the right place -welcome to June's Patreon rewards post! Robots, tanks, more robots, more tanks, and... some weird freaky monsters and a bunch of rocks. Oh yeah, that's the good stuff.

First things first, check your Patreon-associated email inboxes for links to redeem the files via MyMiniFactory! Before we get into anything else, however, tomorrow there will a Patron-exclusive post appearing, containing discount codes you can use for a fancy 15% off all of my models in my MyMiniFactory store, and there's a whole host of other random things I made that, if you like the stuff in this post, you'll probably like on there too.

Alright, enough with the "like, comment and subscribe" advertisements, now for the actual good stuff: pictures. With words. Don't worry about the second bit though, pretty pictures are better. So, where to begin? Ah, yes! This month sees the first featured artist on here, with you guys getting your hands on the latest work from the amazing mind of Diverging Realm in the form of their Bulwark Pattern Heavy Armour and Bulwark Captain, pictured below:

These are a set of five infantrymen and a captain with an assortment of shield options, swords, hammers and axes, alongside pairs of shoulder-mounted cannons, and, let's be honest, from that picture of the captain alone, you can see the stellar work that's gone into them - I hope you're as much of a fan of them as I am, and honestly, I highly encourage you to look into more of their work in future!

Next up, we'll take a little trip down a slightly more traditional route - you know me, I love my tanks, so we'll start there.

The Nyoma-Mjalken Tank Hunter is the answer to everyone's desire for lewd sexy slack tracks, and my own personal wish to do something with interleaved track wheels, so we now have the... oddest looking addition to the Skjalos Guard armoury.

After a number of tests or affixing it to the Nyoma Battle Tank turret, the forgemaidenry of Kalas-Pyrrhon found the prototype Pyrrhon-Pattern Plasma Pulveriser was too heavy, and far too temperamental a weapon to work as a simple re-armament, and after a number of field trials with varying amounts of success, the Nyoma-Mjalken chassis was born, a refitting of the original so much that only the underside of the hull remained from the original vehicle. With such heat generated from the plasma core, and the weapon firing it, all the traditional tank armour was shed, and in its place layered thermo-resistant nyrite plates were installed, not only on the outside but internally to protect its two-man crew, and a hydraulic draw was built to assist the heavy gun elevation. Though this refitting in theory was enough, the decision was made to crew it with sentenced men, as firing it required little skill and a number of trained tank crewmen had previously combusted in combat trials. After seeing it in action as a near-indomitable force of destruction, it was later also fitted with a MkIII Sycara Siege Cannon.

... yeah so basically ultrachungus tank fire big gun. You get the idea.

Next up - let's get weird!

Honestly, it's really hard to render these in such a way that demonstrates how utterly weird they are. I'm really excited to see you guys printing them yourselves and seeing your reactions!

The Legions of Khurybah are not what you are used to. They're not manifestations of psychic will, or fallen angels, or the agents of a divine antagonist. They are those unfortunate enough to have their souls snared by Khurybah, His reach grasping hold of the dead as they part this world, dragged to the Otherside, formless, sightless, aware only of great pain and loneliness and the presence of an utter evil that visits and tortures them with distortions of their memories. Years pass, some tens, some hundreds, some thousands, before they are truly broken, little left but the desire to feel again, the need to see and touch a world outside of the utterly alone blackness that consumes them. Thus they push upwards, trying to find the bones they used to know as their own, taking back their long-ruined bodies, assembling what they can, but with so many lifetimes gone, few remember what they used to look like, and when eventually they can stand, what stands in the place of what was once human is instead a horror, warped out of its shape and size, and, even through its torn, shattered memories, it knows that it is wrong. Surely there should be something holding it together - blood, skin, organs? It used to know this.

And so when settlements hear the unearthly screams of tortured anguish from afar, they know to be afraid, for a Dæmon has awoken, and soon it will search for the things to make itself whole again. To put back what it lost.

So, I told you this year was going to get weird. As originally announced, more than a year ago, I would be exploring dæmonic things in the future, I've finally brought an answer to that promise, the first answer being these, the Dæmons Hetaera, the Maidens of Khurybah. More on that later, but for now, here we have them in their grotesque, shrivelled and atrophied detail. Note that these are even creepier in their full form, pictures really do not capture how horrific they are. Oh, and this is just the first entry into the new Legions faction. This is only the beginning.

Phew. Let's move on from that, getting all chills up in here.

Next up, the Üdaji Heavy Missile Tank - yeah, yeah, yeah, it's more tanks... but wait - that's no cannon, that's no bird, that's no plane! And if you really thought it was a plane, I strongly advocate Specsavers.

It's a missile launcher! Not your average armoured missile bank either, no, this is a tank for real men!* Four giant missiles sit atop the turret, and for once, I actually designed a tank with (vague) practicality in mind, where the missiles can actually fire and not get caught on the tank, once the grip releases, and the turret can turn up to 110 degrees left or right, all without having the rear fins of the missiles catching on the hull.

In addition, it comes with some fancy new track wheels too, including the largest sprocket wheel I've made to date! That is... definitely a new low for things to be excited about, but hey, shiny new wheels! It also comes with a fancy new hull door, on the lower front. Yeah. New low, indeed!

Anyway. You like the tanks so far? Well, let's spice things up with quirky tanks.

The Myraphyx Bombard is an all new addition to the Covenants of Mars range, a new version of the Myraphyx-class light tanks, exchanging its roof-mounted turret for a hull-mounted Infernus Mortar or a Heavy Laser Carbine, and owing to its huge power requirements, its core is housed in a trailer where it can vent properly. And oh my, the little core trailer is so cute, it's not even 4cm tall, but if its not your thing, it's totally optional. Also, whilst it'll be provided in a pose as-is, the components to assemble it in any position will also be included in the extras folder, and you'll also be glad to hear the core itself is separate from the tracks, so you can use it as a carrier for battlefield supplies and whathaveyou as well!

Alright, yeah, I'm bored of tanks too... let's get a little more adventurous...

Look, it's a giant tiny robot! Or... a tiny giant robot! I haven't worked out which it is yet.

Say hello to the fully-realised Myrmia-Class Secutor Construct, with all the guns a growing robot needs! I'm sure you're thinking to yourself, 'Wait, I know you!' as if this guy just stole your sweetroll, and you'd be right! Well, he didn't steal your sweetroll, but June's releases in fact include a long, long, long awaited set of dedicated weapons for the previously-released Myrmia kit, but now it sees the light of day fully equipped for war!

Not only that, but it also includes optional bulked-out armoured legs, and claw-toed feet options, and a new weapon mounting configuration, as pictured, with large protective armour plates on its shoulders similar to those on both the Amalia and Asamus. In total, there are a full eight weapons here: autocannon, plasma cannon, thermal gun, lightning lance, laser destructor, long-barrelled rotary cannon, short-barrelled rotary cannon and conversion laser, all available in left and right mounting options so you can mix and match.

Oh, wait, it's not big enough for you? Pfft, fine, let's see what you make of this!

As promised, and as long, long awaited, the newest redevelopment of the Amalia is here, the Amalia-Phaera War Construct! Though it does exchange it's swingy hammer things for Palatine Scour-Rakes, the Amalia-Phaera is not solely geared for big stabby times. Instead, it hoists in its carapace a choice of either a Destroyer Siege Mortar, Executioner Gatling Cannon, Triple Laser Destroyer or an Eradicator Cannon. Also, note that unlike the previous Amalia weapons, each of the Palatine Scour-Rakes are fully posable at the arm joints, and can be posed at any extension.

Please note that this kit is an upgrade kit to the original Amalia, rather than an all-new Amalia, which means you will require the original Amalia-Class Secutor Construct in order to make full use of it. Don't forget that tomorrow I'll be making a post with a discount code that you can use to get hold of this kit at a patrons-exclusive cut.

Last but not least (and seriously, I have to say both thank you and I'm sorry that you chose to read all of my rambling!), we have the real highlight of this month's rewards. The champion of the release. A paragon of digital files.

A base pack.

Finally in this month's releases is the Hallowed Ground Model Base Set - as you can see above (200mm circular base pictured) these are a fair bit more detailed than the preceding set of Ilmarae bases, and this time come with a fancy diorama-style lip, and are inset with mystical magical 'mazin' runes. Like each set that came before it, these will include a whole load of variants for each common circular and oval base size (25mm, 28.5mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, 80mm, 100mm, 130mm, 160mm, 200mm, 60x35mm, 75x42mm, 90x52mm, 105x70mm, 120x92mm, 170x105mm, 200x135m), and will also include magnet slots underneath for those of you that use magnet-tray storage, and have a new style of under-base support struts to strengthen the base without using up excessive amount of resin, and hopefully alleviating the effects of bending during printing and tabletop use. These are intended to use 2mm thick, 4mm diameter magnets, but the recess itself is 3mmx5mm to allow for easier placement and resin expansion.

So... that'll do for this month's rewards - oh, and presupports for all of May's files will be uploaded on Monday! You got yourself new space tanks, space robots, space monsters and... not space bases, but I hope you're ready for a wild month ahead - including the return of some redeveloped familiar faces, and some all new stuff. You know I love keeping you guys on your toes.
