Patreon Rewards: May 2022

Hey there everyone. The time has come to get your hands on all the random things I made this month! It's been a wild ride of a month, but hey, we got there in the end, check your Patreon-associated email inboxes for links to redeem the files via MyMiniFactory! Before we get into anything else, however, following this post there will a secondary Patron-exclusive post containing discount codes you can use for a fancy 15% off all of my models in my MyMiniFactory store, and for those of you that missed out on the preceding parts of the Nyphia-Class Secutor Construct that were made available in previous months, there's also a unique code that's only available this month to get 50% off the whole thing: legs, torso, guns and all.

Anyhow. Boring promotions aside, onto the cool things. If you're not interested in reading the novel that is this post, skip to the end for a couple of hints for the future.

Let's start off with the one that I didn't put in the group picture because it really deserves its own stage: the Nyphia-Class Secutor Construct.

Okay, well, this month's rewards are focused on its arms and weapons, but it's a shame not to include the render of that badass leering pose, which stands a mighty 30cm tall in this pose.  The Nyphia can be armed with any two of five cannons, which can be mounted with or without an underslung hooked blade, perfect for ripping any would-be combatants asunder with a swift slice. Included are an eradicator cannon, gatling cannon, flame cannon, plasma annihilator and triple laser destructor, and each weapon has its own entirely unique power cell, generator or munitions storage at the rear of the cannon. In addition, while the central section is shared between all the variants, both the front and rear can be magnetised, so you can change between weapons with ease.

Included, of course, are also arms, and to cope with the weight and balance of the arms, each section of the arm can be pinned together, at both the weapon mount and shoulder, and each features a covering section so any exposed areas of your pins won't be visible when it's complete!

Okay, so that's one thing out the way, so what's next... ah, yes, let's go to the other end of the scale spectrum, with the Haratarii Dimachaerii!

Did you like the Haratarii War Covenant?
Do you like combat squads?
Do you like heavy weapons squads?
Do you like turning towards your enemy and saying "General Kenobi" between coughs?

Well, have I got news for you! With the Haratarii Dimachaerii you can shoot your opponents to death, then cut up their remains, and shoot them even more to prove a point!

These guys are a little stockier then their War Covenant predecessors, trading their desert garbs for shoulder armour and chunky legs designed to withstand the recoil from firing heavy cannons, and for forming an indomitable wall of blades defending any position they might need to. Indeed, speaking of heavy cannons, these guys have a total of four cannon options, a twin melt-cannon, rotary cannon, heavy flamethrower and plasma cannon, and each gun comes with four poses so you can have full squads with all unique looks. The Haratarii Eparch has no fancy weapons, however, and comes instead with four blades looking like he wants to control a droid army.

Oh yeah, and thanks to this month's amendments of the Haratarii War Covenant models, these arms are interchangeable with both that kit, and every other Minatarii, Khoiata, Myadea, and Phykon models, and the secondary weapons on Hastaxii Praetorians.

Not to be outdone, the paragons of thwacking, slicing, impaling, crushing and... pickaxing your enemies while shooting them with anti-tank weapons is next up: Valkyries in Hyperion Heavy Armour.

I mean, one thing I will say is that these guys have got great smiles, they're always grinning. Ignore the fact their skin has rotted away, staring makes them kinda self-conscious, okay?

You know those Hyperion Troopers from back in April? Well, I've been hard at work making more of them, and now an all-new variant is here, the Hyperion Valkyries! This set includes five new pairs of legs, abandoning their armoured crotchplate for the fabled tabard, which everybody knows makes you more important. In addition, there are five unique torso designs featured, five new pairs of shoulder cannons (gravity-pulsar, plasma cannon, lasblaster, volt cannon, radiation cannon and las-culverin), eight arm pairs with lances (four with shorter spears, four with longer pikes, of which half are held in two hands, half in one hand), four pairs of arms with power claws, four pairs of arms with a power pick and Myadea shield, and lastly five pairs of arms with a power blade in each.

Also everything is entirely interchangeable with the previous Hyperion kit.

Oh yeah. And they have skulls for heads.

Alright, cool, the infantry are done, the robots are spoken for, you know what that leaves right? TANKS. And where better to start than the all-new toaster on tracks: the Acaskë Incinerator!

The one-stop answer to finding a giant spider nest in your house, the Acaskë Incinerator is an extremely heavily modified Njassa Transport, exclusively designed to hold this one weapon and the its flammable payload.

At its most basic, it's a heavy, but fast, flame tank, mounting a huge unique flamethrower cannon on its turret, and exchanges all of its troop carrying space with six huge canisters of flammable naphlex fuel, which can be replenished by filling the canisters through the six reservoir lids behind the turret. In addition, it can fire from its hull mounted secondary weapon, which it can use a number of options also available to the Oryssa Artillery Tank.

In addition, it also uses an identical weapon fitting to the Nyoma and Nyoma-Akylo Battle Tanks, so you can turn those into little fire tanks too with this turret, or use the Nyoma Inferno Cannon turret on this tank for a more conventional shrouded flamethrower gun.

Speaking of flamers, this release also sees the return of the much loved Isaurix Armoured Transport and Chalyciax Flame Tank, with a slightly refined style that brings them into line with the rest of the Skjalos vehicle styles, but maintaining their somewhat iconic vibe of sheer chonk.

These two share the same chassis as the Oryssa, Iorynn and Kystoja, and so fall into that same scale, but have a significantly more built up core: the Isaurix has ample space for carrying troops to the fore of a battlefield, while the Chalyciax uses that space for huge barrels of fuel, filled with varying liquids to douse the enemy in flame or chemicals - either way, it's a really bad time for anyone hit.

Both vehicles share up a choice of four secondary hull-mounted weapon options, and the Isaurix has a choice of a casemate-mounted las-blaster, las-cannon, flame cannon or autocannon, and the Chalyciax can select one of three turret-mounted cannons: a heavy flame cannon, an inferno lance, or chem-cannon.

Alright, that's a few tanks... but wait, there's just one more. Well. It's kind of a tank, kind of a car. And no, it's not a cank, it's the UIF-X788 Devastator!

I mean, aside from this little guy looking pretty much unlike a tank in every way, it's also the first conventional vehicle that I've made that uses wheels instead of tracks, and you have the option of using wheels with or without snow chains and camo-tarp around the hull for maximum terrain theming! It is also armed with your choice of either a LNIW45 Vengeance Artillery Cannon or a MKA-XVII Retributor Siege Cannon, both of which have optional camo bags around the base of the cannon.

In addition, the hull can be posed in a level or elevated position for firing its cannon, and the front wheels can be posed in any rotation. I'll be honest, there's a lot more to this one's background, however I'll keep that quiet until such time as its place in the promised land is realised - gotta keep you hooked somehow, right?

So. That's it for this month's rewards - and presupports for this and last month's stuff will hopefully be here by the end of this month if all projections line up correctly. You got yourself new space men, space robots and space tanks, but I hope you're ready for a wild month ahead!

June will see not only the usual assortment of crazy, but it'll also be the first to feature a guest model, premiering with the fine artistry of Diverging Realm, and also, as previously mentioned, the arrival of D̴͔͒͌̍́͗̚͝͝æ̶̢̞͇͚̤͈̇̒͋̈́͊͜ͅḿ̷͈̉̉͂̈́̒̕ǫ̶̡̮̫͕̱̼̦̑͛n̸̟̆̆̇̃̋̅̇͘š̸̙̰̊̑̊́...

I'm new here and absolutely love your stuff! I particularly look forward to more from the Devastator-like series of tanks you've hinted at. I think its design is gorgeous.

Hey there, apologies for the delayed response, I didn't see it till now - as it is, owing to the nature of resin expansion, I don't have exact magnet recesses, it's more or less a 'see how it looks after printing' thing, unfortunately

I'm new to your patreon, printing the first of your may patreon I have a question about your magnet pockets: Do you work with standard sizes. So I can buy some magnets and can use them for the comming models? Taking a look on the models I see in the may patreon it could be Ø2x1 magnets and Ø6mm+3 magnets? This would be a help if I could know it before printing.
