April 2022 Rewards
Added 2022-04-04 23:31:15 +0000 UTCHey there all! It's almost midnight as I write this, and I'm tired beyond belief, which can only mean one thing - it's release time!
Now then, I've gotten everything ready for this month's releases except for one thing, the UIF Devastator, which I fully intended to have ready on this release, but honestly, I'm not happy with the direction it's gone in and I have opted to delay it instead of releasing something substandard. With that in mind, I have decided to cycle a couple of older releases into this month's rewards, to keep a consistently high level of releases. In addition to this month's Nyphia War Construct body, the Skjalos Alyspe Scraptank, April 1st's exclusive Oryn Tylla, the Kairnite Officiates and Hyperion Heavy Troopers, you've also received the Skjalos' Nyoma Battle Tank and the Covenants' Okytus Conveyor and Venator vehicles, a couple of vehicles originally released last year. Apologies for this interchange, I spent a fair amount of this month ill and didn't get as much time as I would usually use on a month's releases unfortunately.
That said, there are a lot of cool new things for you to play with this month! Well, lets start off with the big thing, I know you're all mainly here for giant robots, so here we have month two of the Nyphia Secutor Construct:

Do you like robots that really just look like they hate everything? Cause uh, I'm pretty sure this guy gives off really spiteful vibes.
Last month, the Nyphia's legs were released, forming a foundation for an entirely new type of construct. This month, you'll find a torso in your rewards, split for both large and regular format printers, plus a fully posable neck and head, and a spherical joint on the waist allows it to be assembled in almost any pose. The Nyphia can look left, right, up and down just like its other Secutor and Asamus brethren, but unlike them owing to its double jointed neck it can also leer with malicious intent upon the battlefield, and cock its head to the side like the brutish, almost primal construct that it is. In addition, it has an optional 'crown' plate that can be attached to the top of its head distinguishing it from other Nyphia, if you're crazy enough to print Nyphia squadrons!
Next month, you can look forward to arms and weapons for this monster, and you'd better be prepared for options!
Next up, let's get the more traditional stuff out of the way. You know I love tanks. So, here we have the second entry into the Skjalos Scraptank series!

I know, I know, it doesn't have the same rendering style as my usual stuff, I'm terribly sorry, but I only realised I hadn't done a fancy render just now. Part of my chores for this month is to get through the rest of my render backlog, so this will be on the list too! Alongside finally putting dimensions and descriptions in for all of my models! This is the all-new Alyspe Scraptank, a (much) bigger brother to the Ukoia! This guy here is much more of a battle tank than its predecessor, but maintains a significant transport bay for weapon systems and munitions to keep stoked the fires of war! This one's dimensions are 90x205x75mm - I'm sure you can find some use for it, right? Now, it only comes with a battle cannon option presently, however the turret and gun are separate pieces for futureproofing and extra weapons.
Next up... well, here's where we get weird!

The Hyperion Heavy Troopers are, to date, the single most customisable kit I've made, and you can see them here standing atop 32mm bases. Included are five pre-posed pairs of legs, three pairs of arms wielding their hammers in two hands, and two arms with a hammer in one hand, and four arms with their hands free (including, as pictured here, a pointing arm and an arm showing how excited he is to be at Download Festival). Also, all of the reaper cannons simply rest on the shoulderplates, so you can choose to pose them elevated or levelled for direct fire, or have only a single cannon on one shoulder, or no cannons at all! In addition, in the extras folder, you'll find two extra torso variants, one like the above without the grille and one with no astronaut helmet or backpack, so you can kitbash whatever you like to it. Also, both helmeted torsos are hollow, so you can print them in transparent resin and put heads or skulls inside them!
Included also in this kit are 5 leg poses at different angles with ball joints to attach each foot to each leg, and a ball joint to connect each leg to the waist, and the torso sits on a ball joint on top of the waist. In addition, the arms will also connect to the torso via ball joints, so you can make absolutely any sort of pose that you can imagine. This will not be the last you see of these models either, I have a lot of plans for variants of these in future, so be prepared! And don't forget, tomorrow's exclusive mystery model is coming too!
Not to be outdone by armoured astronauts, we have even more weird.

Well, I believe these are my first all-female infantry set, and they do come in style. I had a lot to say about these, but honestly I'm kinda tired and flagging, so I'll leave you to explore this kit yourselves. I should write these posts in the middle of the day in future. Noted.
Also just so there are pictures of the re-releases, here goes:

Lastly, I will actually be posting up a proper plan for this month in the coming days, I know the roadmap has been rather a mess of late and I plan to rectify that!
And as always, have fun! You've got a lot of new stuff to print, and I can't wait to see them - if you want to show off your finished prints and models, feel free to post them up in #my-solwyte in my Discord! Finally, If you haven't received an email invitation in a few minutes please send me a message via Patreon or Discord and I'll manually issue you one when I'm back awake!

Hey there, apologies for the delay, my ability to add people to MMF groups has been limited of late due to me hopping around the country! You should now have an email invite to redeem the files via MMF :)
