Print Delays (Feedback needed!)
Added 2020-03-31 21:50:17 +0000 UTCI know there are fans and supporters interested in receiving psychical copies of some of my work. There were two comics I planned to print this year, "Chichi's Dirty Job" (ChichixRandom) and "Devious Culprit, 18!"(Krillinx18). But due to recent events, some ideas/comics I wanted to print will most likely not happen this year.
Personally, I don't want to delay any of these stories for months (if not a whole year) because my go to printing shop probably won't be in service for awhile, plus I rather not ship anything out for the time being. But I'd really like to know what you guys think.
Should I continue on with these ideas and post on a regular schedule (similar to "Close Encounter") and print new stories later this year or next? Or should I put these two comic ideas on hold until I'm able to print them and do comic shorts for the time being (like "Surprise Visit" with KrillinxMaron)?

I'm selfish and want those printed stories as soon as possible, however I don't want you to feel any guilty for just keeping them in the back burner while we wait for this shit to get better. Honestly whatever you prefer I'm cool with.

2020-04-01 04:26:04 +0000 UTCIt comes down to, will releasing them weekly like close encounters then making new stories for print burn you out or not. You have to make sure that you don't over-work yourself. Your supporters and fans will be happy with whatever you make and put out I promise :)

I'd be fine with pre-ordering when initially scheduled and getting the print version later if a PDF/some form of digital version was available for said pre-order. Or, if pre-order isn't comfortable, I would just order the print when they become available (hey, maybe get both in the same package if things goes that way :D).

2020-03-31 22:38:45 +0000 UTCIf you want to keep your schedule I think you should. Personally I think maybe setting up a 3rd party link (Ko-fi, Paypal, Etc..) as a form of pre-order could work. Send you a payment when the project is done for a digital copy and get put on a list for when Prints are a possibility again. You can keep that open for a certain time like usual and then roll it into your Patreon schedule like you did with "Close Encounter".
