Reward reconsideration - Part 1
Added 2019-02-16 23:24:31 +0000 UTCIt kinda became a regularity that I reconsiders how I handle everything related to drawing and Patreon! Just at the beginning of the year I decided to do more sketchy and experimental stuff stylewise. A few weeks into the new year I want to say: I love it and hope you all like the content as well!
But as always, I think a lot about rewards and stuff. How I could improve them for you and for me! And since you all are the one giving away your hard earned money, I want to talk with you about it and be as open as possible! So I'll will do some posts and polls in the next days about the current state and possible changes.
Most of the rewards weren't changed since I started in 2016. Some of them could be improved, some of them should maybe go and some new ones could be added!
Part 1: Youtube
Maaaaybe some of you noticed I haven't uploaded speed drawing videos on YT for like 6 weeks. I'm so behind the schedule and I haven't even recorded most of the doodles. I don't know exactly how or why, but I really don't enjoy doing YT anymore. I thought a lot about quitting, but I also hesitate a bit because I did it for over 3 years, met very nice people through YT and I'm sure quite a few of you found me through YT. But if it's no fun at all... Maybe I could do videos just when I feel like it? Or I'll just keep putting my energy into drawing. Idk...
Anyway... the shoutout/credit at the end of the video is pretty useless, if I don't make videos...^^" I would like to do something similar, but I have just no idea how... do you have any ideas? Or should we just scrap that reward?
TL;DR: I'm trying to improve rewards for you and me, I hate doing YT, how could I give you guys a shoutout instead?
Also, I'll add a poll about YT, just to get an idea how you think about it. The results won't change my decision, I'm just very curious. So please be honest! Did you actually watch the videos?

Your voice is super cute, but that aside I really like watching you make lines and think 'how many times would it take me to get it right like that?' - As someone who also sometimes does art it's really interesting for me to watch you. But do I watch them often? Not really. I don't think it's something to do for every drawing, just if you feel like it. I imagine sometimes you might end up drawing something non-ecchi and feel like making a video, but I don't think Youtube should affect your subject material if it has been.

That's less on you though (and I'll agree with others that your voice is kawaii as fuck) and more on my inability to keep more than a marginal attention span on anything. Besides that, I don't want you doing anything that makes you miserable just to appease us. As for the shoutouts, I don't really have a horse in that particular race since I specifically asked to be left out of that. I'll try to brainstorm some ideas though....

Doesn't need to be a video, and it's (obviously) completely up to you, but I'd love to learn a little bit on how to draw ladies as curvy and clothing as immaculate as you do.
