Fill Me Up Version 0.4.0a (PC) Now with smaller file size and bug fixes

Okay everyone. Here it is!

This is the PC version. If you're a serial skipper, I think think that ammounts to about 2-3 hours of content, maybe more if you are willing to do multiple playthroughs.

Please understand that there will be bugs. I have tried to get as many as I can, but I cannot test every possible outcome and guarantee a bug free experience right off the bat.  If you find any bugs, I will patch in the following days.  For now I have confirmed that I can complete the game from start to finish. Right now, the most important thing to me was to get this out there.

The first thing you will notice is I have gone back on the AI art, mostly. More on that below. However, some of the images from the previous patch were lost in an unfortunate copy and paste accident, so several shrine scenes and as well as a few others will need to be re shot at a later date.

What I did do was I did train a model on images I liked from the game and used them to fix renders that I deemed unsatisfactory. I was not comprehensive in this approach, but a keen eye might be able to spot it on some images. I basically used it in the same way I do photoshop.

If there is demand for an all AI-ified version, I am open to making one, but there at this time thousands of images and will take days to complete that process in a satisfactory way.

I will be sending out the copies to previous patrons between June and July. Some people will be happy to know that I slightly expanded the range of dates I will be sending a copy to as my originally specified dates didn't cover enough. In total, 114 people should expect a message with a download link.


***Why it took so long***

Well, shortly after my last post last year, my son was born a month prematurely. That in combination with my office job that usually has me in the office as late as 7PM most nights basically left me unable to even entertain the idea of working on this project. I should have communicated that with everyone but I can only describe my state of mind as frazzled. Sleep depravation and a job that requires you to be switched on at all times left me the most drained I had ever been in my life. My work was further compounded by this being a very difficult game to work on in the presence of family.

I don't expect you to forgive me for the delay, but I feel you are entitled to know why it happened.

Anyway, 

I hope you all find something you enjoy in this version of the game and enjoy discovering the things I've hidden around.

Great update- but personally I really enjoy the AI style so much more that I prefer version 0.3.0. It is unfortunate that the community is so divided on this. I can only hope you will create an AI graphics version as well.

great to see the new update finally released, though I think anyone would be an utter jerk to argue with you about that after typing so, I hope your newborn is doing well…. But anyway I’ve played 0.4 with the build I had and certainly enjoyed the new content in it even if it’s quite spaced out overall. Though I do wonder about one thing, is their planned for the previous stages since you did add a new set of feeding events with Akane for the university?

It’s been long but I am glad to see a new update finally out for this game (even if the new content is spread out throughout all the stages), I do we are able to choose Yui or Yuka as our girlfriends in future updates or perhaps China but I am being hopeful and get more Uni stuff to do earlier on

You beat me to it with a lot of those bugs, but I know of some not listed here (though I already sent them to bobo in a DM); there's also limits to a few locations (primarily shrine) where the game runs out of events to fire at various points, more obvious in the feeder route around stages 5/6. I think I also found something that causes a jump back to the main menu, but I can't remember where it was and accidentally deleted the save where it happened. My ultimate hopes are for yo-yo dieting / staying chubby to be an option for Akane, and for the sub/dom elements to be flipped more often, allowing for more domineering feedees, or subservient feeders within the cast. Completing every route and variant felt stale once it was clear that every character gets the same sort of treatment: every obese character is a slob, every feeder is an asshole lol

It also makes the game much more complex and hard to manage for sure. But it’s a very positive thing for gameplay and player choice. Definitely one of the reasons it’s not as common is the amount of effort that has to go into it. Same with branching paths or narratives.

I do have to say I appreciate how much effort you put in that report. It's really well done. There is one point I want to bring out especially since I feel it was something I couldn't really figure out how to say well and it's this Quote: You’ve done something really interesting and ambitious by having pathways within the routes for different variations of the girls. Although a ton of work I think it’s very interesting, and I like the replayability it gives the game, and scene variation. That’s why I think it’s especially important to clean up some of the earlier events or narrative issues as you keep adding on to the paths. Some of the stages might have inconsistencies that stem from the newer content not existing/working with the pathways. Or using both variations of renders within the same path, that lead to Kaede, Akane, Erika, etc being both fat and or skinny during certain scenes. End of quite This is the one thing that makes me feel this game is so different in positive way. Not many games offer this much different possible route choices. It must be lot of work to keep it all tracked right. Finished my playthrough of the different routes and most scenes. There are quite a few (hundreds) of errors/typos. Most bugs seem to keep you from accessing certain content or it triggering when it's not supposed to. The update is great the new content always is. I would love to see more added on to the other route(s). As well as bringing the early game content to a place where it narratively fits with the routes and doesn't feel as underdeveloped. There are still gaps or inconsistencies between old and new content from visual to narrative for certain activities or routes due to how new content was added in. The partial removal of the AI renders was nice to see, although there are many scenes that still use full AI or a mix of old and AI renders for plenty of content. It would be nice to see this updated. Lastly, I would love to see some more added to the weight loss route (and always hoping for an unrealistic feeder Akane route from the beginning.) The route may need some work/reworking there are a lot of cases where it just feels like the feedee stage got slapped with an option to try to lose weight. Which is fine but the dialogue doesn't work well with it when Akane is being pushed to overindulge and talking about getting bigger when the player has made the choice otherwise in the beginning of the stage. I enjoyed my time and loved seeing the new stuff looking forward to what comes next.

I would agree the AI usage is not for me. The consistency is all over the place, lots of errors and the conflicting art style, even against other AI renders is jarring for me. But some amount of people, not sure how many, like the AI stuff over the 3d models. While I would prefer to see the game get new content, especially for the weight loss/Akane feeder route, and fix the issues the game has with the other content being underdeveloped or having narrative issues, I don't doubt that there is some demand for AI over the 3d. I'm just not sure what the spilt is, which Is why I am interested. I do love the game though and it has a lot of good things going for it.

I personally feel that two separated art styles are just too much work to be rational choice to have in one game. In theory I have nothing against the concept of using AI art but as long as the consistency is terrible and bodies are all wonky and full of detail errors I don't find it reasonable solution. I really like this 3D arts. It also goes well with the animations that are really nice and not that common thing to have in these games.

I really love that you switched back to the original 3D art style. Now it's far more consistent and enjoyable to watch and this change makes me really happy. There still seems to be some scenes that feature previous AI art but that's small details you should fix later at some point. I can't understand how people can live with all that inconsistency and malformed bodies that the AI art gives. I have not tested all routes yet but there seems to be some bug or something that causes skip to the point folks move out to the new place without any explanation. This was at least in "all gaining path" Also coming back home scene seems to play bit weird places and after things that happened at home. And I can't really point out enough how much I like these 3D characters. There is something especially cute in Nene and her expression. The other thing that I like and want to point out again is how I like how characters have all a bit different body types from each other. Like in real life. And I also like small details like stretch marks and such. Also, it would be nice to find and take a look at Erika's album that she briefly mentions when taking a selfie with Akane at the gym Now, some things that needs bit thinking: Some events and parts of the game feels bit disconnect from each other. This may be that some scenes happen bit weird order in some game plays so it feels like there are certain gaps in here and there that might need bit fine tuning to fit together better. I would also suggest adding some stuff to do for weekends as at least in fat Erika path when the Gym becomes unavailable it feels there isn't that much stuff to do in weekends and for students that should be the time when you do all the stuff. Then there is shameless suggestion from my kinks that I personally would like if there was some belly button related stuff somewhere. Doesn't have to be all around, but little something would be nice like belly button play or something. And lastly. I'm glad you are alive and back. I was almost sad since this game looked so promising and then there was months of silence. Please do keeps us informed that this is still a thing even if it would be that "Sorry guys, you have to wait some more". I know it's not a nice to have to say that but it's still way better than silence.

I think Akane needs to gain to stage 3 first, only after feeding Yui's cupcakes to Erika and choosing the self control route, Akane can loose weight, but as for now, it doesn't have more new content after loosing the weight and story doesn't continue after that to a new house.

I wrote up a small review on WeightGaming, here's some tidbits (referring to you in 3rd person, sorry :P ) I forgot how much I loved the style of the game. Especially with the mirror feature the models really help make the gain seem gradual and natural. The AI is just too inconsistent. That and the models have a really nice charm to them - which makes me even more happy that the AI is now used only to slightly enhance them. The demand for AI in patreon comments still seems large, but thankfully Bobo said that there would be 2 versions of the game, and i know which one I’ll be choosing. My favourite parts of the game were always the animations, and I’m glad there’s been a few new ones, though I feel like some opportunities were missed. I’d love to see more wardrobe malfunction animations, and more stuffings ones, too - though I’m aware that probably takes a lot of time. The new stages were chef’s kiss. I really enjoyed the sense of corruption in my route. Again, if I were to suggest something ambitious, it’d be to flesh out a non-intentional gaining route for the MC - but that’s something to consider for the future. It’d just love to see her balloon up despite her best efforts, instead of becoming an active feedee. On the epilogue: spoilered on WeightGaming, don't want to post spoilers here, in short: hope the game goes even further than the current epilogue (as well as filling out content in between last stage and current epilogue), in the typical lighthearted and horny way. I’m glad to see more content throughout the entire game, as it means less skipping for minutes on end. Of course there are bugs here and there, but at least in my case they didn’t break my save (there’s been some cases of that, some already fixed). All in all, I really like the direction the game is taking. Hope Bobo’s life is a bit less chaotic now, cause man I can’t wait to see even more!

I'd be curious as to how many people actually like the two separate art styles. I personally love that the AI art was largely removed as I prefer the original 3D blender models. And while I respect that there are others that feel the opposite. I've always been curious as to what the majority of the community feels that supports/has interest in the game. I'd be interested to see the results of a poll that gauges the community's opinion and preferences in the manner.

I loved the v0.4 game in its 3D version of the characters, although the AI version is not bad, it is also very good. very good game, I don't know if in future versions you can add v0.X in 3d characters and v0.Xa with bugsfix and AI characters as you did this time. that is, like the beta version of the update with 3D characters V0.X and the update already with bugs solved with the AI characters V0.Xa. ​

I mean, as long as the AI(-only) art doesn't become the only form of art, I'm fine with you taking time to work on it (take as long as you like) but personally I've found the AI art too distracting with the glaring issues of AI frequently spewing out nonsense and being inconsistent and making some characters hard to distinguish from one another and much preferred the renders when the free version was one that still had them edit: just to be clear I am talking about renders as opposed to AI-only art, so far the AI-fixed renders seem fairly decent

Great update and congrats on your kid! I have to say I am torn on the art style. The AI art does a great job with faces but of course it is inconsistent with character models scene to scene and sometimes has difficulty with bodies. If I had to pick I slightly prefer the AI, but ultimately I think you should work with whatever is more comfortable for you!

Thank you! Those are perfectly valid criticism. This whole thing started me with screwing around in blender 3D. I'm not an artist or anything. I bet I could do better given time, but it's always been a quantity over quality type of deal with this game. Especially when it comes to clothing. It's my least favorite part of the process. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a delusional artist or overly protective of my work. One of the hardest things about working on this game is knowing I can do better now but kind of having to stick with it. Truth be told, if I was to do it over again, I wouldn't be doing it in the style it is now and it wouldn't be in renpy. The animesque models and the lighting/camera angles I use to take the shots do not compliment eachother. I'm very much against outsourcing the art though. Too many projects die on that hill. I have other methods like those seen in the previous update that can "make up" for my shortcomings and I think people are actually interested in exploring that further.

The clothes look off, the body shapes misshapen, the outlines angular... I hope i dont sound too harsh. I'm more the fan of the good rendered pictures. Maybe it could be an option to have a seperate person doing the art part? I really love the game itself, and the different storylines are very well concepted. Also it must be very, very difficult to handle all those story options, but you do a VERY good job at that. Nice! I've been able to test out this update a little, but I think there are still some bugs here and there. I've tried everything I could to fatten Nene up, but in the end by the time we moved out she was still as slim as ever. I've also seen by digging through the files (to see if maybe a fatter Nene just wasn't implemented yet) and saw that there is a route for a slimmer Chika but I don't think I ever had the option for her to go down this path? What do I need to do to get a slim Chika and/or a fat Nene?

My issue isn't the download limit. For some reason, each time the download "completes", it just refreshes the page and doesn't actually download

RIght now, Mega has a strict limit on the daily download one user can use. This can be circumvented by using a VPN and a few other solutions here. Mega is fairly lax about this. Also I'll be working on compressing the images today after a round of bug fixes.

Very happy to see the new update and glad that the reason for all the delays was a stressful but happy one. I had a few bugs worth mentioning: Backyard & living room being broken in the new house, the transition event that was the end of .3 didn't trigger, you just appear in the new house, and Nene was always fit regardless of how much she was fed. Edit: To clarify, I had fit Nene & the lack of .3 ending content (Chita fired etc) on an 'everyone gains' run. I was able to get Nene to gain & have the content from the end of .3 on a fit Akane run but that didn't trigger content for .4, it just stayed in the same loop as in .3

i think theres an issue with the game. because of the new update for the university now if you say yes to the free food it wont count the university as passing the time so you can just continuosly go to uni until you unlock an event unrelated to the university like rin calling you ect

Up front I'd like to say I loved AI art in 0.3. For me, it took game from good to WOW! So I would really appreciate a later AI version of 0.4. Looking forward to playing it nevertheless!

I think an A.I update for the next update would be great, I'm more interested in 2D than 3D and it's a real necessity for the game imo. As for the time it takes to create those A.I images maybe you could delegate the work to someone else so you can focus more easily on the other parts of the baby ? (And congrats for your child !)

Can confirm: New save, backyard and living room break the game. Also when the game runs out of stages, you just stuck in a callback error loop where you go visit Yui.

Afraid so far it doesn't work with Joiplay, it says there's a syntax error. I'm terrible with tech so I suppose I'll just have to wait and see if the compressed version works. Looking forward to playing it.

Idk what causes it but there’s a bug where you get stuck in an infinite loop with the yui stuff

It might have happened because I just started from a previous save. Granted they were still fat but maybe that screwed something up. I do hope there will eventually be put in place another chance to lose weight. Failing the first time is to much fun not to do. About the mega thing it didn't give me an issue and I don't know why. I straight up just downloaded and was cool.

Yea living room and backyard cause errors. Also I get a fit Erika even though she's fat and I forget the other one feeding hotdogs which is extremely out of place considering well I believe they're both fat.

Good so far, however some bugs: early on, with the yuka appearence in the bar, a traceback occurs there. It's one that you are able to continue through, which may have caused issues, however it does pop up everytime she is at the bar at that early stage. Later, once I got to the newer content, going anywhere other than the living room, rooms, or somewhere else caused a trackback that I couldn't continue through.

Just a heads up but that I need to get some sleep, but as others have mentioned VPNs work with mega and they're quite forgiving with them too.

vpn. Download to capacity, then force close mega sync, switch servers, then start up mega sync again.
