Poll: Which Thumbnail?
Added 2021-11-08 23:17:40 +0000 UTCUpdate: The poll graph was decisive but some of the comments also made a good point that the much loved Option 1 image from the show opening titles might've been seen so much already by viewers that they ignore it here.
So I thought it would be interesting to sign up to TubeBuddy and run an A/B test to see which thumbnail performed better. The results surprised me! Option 2 (me standing by KITT) allegedly got almost twice as many clicks. I really didn't think it would be that different. Thanks to everyone who voted and commented that led to this revelation - well worth it!
I'll be running a YT Shorts version of the video this weekend because although the feedback has been phenomenol, actual clicks are lower than hoped and simply I want as many people to enjoy this as possible. Even though I voted for the classic look, I still thought the other version was just as good, Iβm just a stick in the mud. Canβt deny the masses though; if it helps promote the video/channel then who am I to argue π§
