It really is amazing watching and reading all of these tributes to Sir Clive from the American perspective. I never owned a Sinclair, not even the Timex, nor did any of my friends. My only experience or knowledge of the micro was ads in White Dwarf magazine. I was looking through back issues recently and saw that White Dwarf 42 had a Traveller character generation program for the ZX81. All this retro from across the pond "retropondenvy?" has put a desire to get a ZX Spectrum and some games. Sadly, they are a little rarer here and the Spectrum Next (gen 2) is already sold out. I'll keep my eye out though as I've got a hankerin' to explore the Spectrum.
