Update and beta invite!

You might have noticed I've been maybe a little quieter than usual so far this week. I had wanted to do a live video (or 2) but just haven't been able to find the headspace so far. This is for a few nice reasons:
- I got some good news back on a seed I sowed that demanded unexpected prep work for what will be a future video (can't say too much more just yet)
- I've been hard at work for the next "normal" video (technical issues 'n' all) which will be: 1988 Amiga Battle Chess vs. 2015 PC Battle Chess!
- I've also been working on the 9-Bit Guy's Commander X16 website with patron/incredible web developer Matt Grandis (see below)
- And I've been trying to manage my workload a bit better and know when to slow down a little/not overwork, for the best end results :-)
- And some personal matters that needed attending to a little more than usual
I still hope to do a live video this week, but it may be later in the week or Saturday. The game will either be Wizball 2-player with Ladyfractic, or Damocles with yours truly!
As for the Commander X16 website, I'd like to invite you in as a beta tester! There's just a few of us there right now (nothing like the 17k at the Facebook group), but even if you're not interested in the machine itself (for which I'm proud to be the Visual Design guy), you might enjoy testing some features and looking around. No pressure, your call:

Sorry this wasn't a vlog (I haven't done one for a while), but what with everything it just seemed more efficient to put it in a post. Thanks for your patience and ongoing support, and I'll see you guys Saturday at the latest ๐๐น

2020-04-29 19:44:46 +0000 UTCI've tried the beta site in my browser and it looks very promising, however, the mobile version needs a bit of work, imo. I've also had a quick look at the emulator for his Commander X16 and I'm loving it - I especially like how it supports C64 Basic, PETSCII, etc. 5 minutes with the emulator has already made me put the actual machine on my wishlist! ๐ PS: Thanks for the opportunity to check all this out, and I hope you and LadyFractic are doing well!
