Dear Supporters
It's early access video time! But first a quick update on the live videos. They're a lot of fun and several of you have said you appreciate them. I might scale back the frequency slightly to once or twice a week, for 2 reasons:
1) I want to continue putting the normal amount of time into videos like your early access video that this post is about. Logistically live videos do take a big chunk out of a day (lots goes on behind the scenes, from thumbnails and scheduling, to physical logistics of setting up at home etc.) Doing a little less will let me continue to give a little more in the main videos.
2) People have warned that live videos can hurt the channel. Others say it's a myth (as do YouTube who actively promote live gaming videos). I don't really wish to set up a separate channel or Twitch as that will add a whole other workload of checking & switching between 2 accounts of comments & to make settings, plus the new channel won't have any subscribers. So I'm happy to keep them where they are, but I have seen a slowdown in subscribers per day (whilst overall views are up). This is likely just people "balancing" out, as we lose a few poor sausages who aren't into live gaming. But, by slowing down the live vids slightly, it will reduce any chance of negative effects a bit too.
I hope you are able to agree with that philosophy. But the important thing is you guys are liking the extra content, so it will definitely stick around either way...
Now for the more exciting bit! This video is a story I've wanted to tell for many years, and finally I can! It's a bit of a rollercoaster and I didn't have a plan of how it would turn out... it sort of wrote itself. So here it is!
As always please do not hesitate to make any suggestions for things you think could be changed or improved. ππΉ
Thank you for your ongoing support!
