Video schedule update

I hope you are doing well! I just wanted to give you a little update about this week ahead at Retro Recipes.
As you will know I endeavour to release main edited videos "most Saturdays". This week will like be one of those weeks where I can't put out a main video, but we'll do other fun stuff instead. The main reason for this is the video that I was working on, I am still awaiting something to arrive from Italy. Unfortunately the mail has been quite delayed, especially customs. I don't think the video would be as good without this item so I would rather wait and give you guys the best experience. 😉
Before the lockdown I was working two weeks ahead of schedule. In other words I would always have one completed video under my belt ready to release whilst working on the next one. Since lockdown we have been mixing things up a bit with the increased content of live videos and so that buffer zone has temporarily gone away.
That being said, this week I have the following in mind!:
- Ladyfractic Plays Super Mario 2 tomorrow (Monday)
- Peri Plays Alter Ego! (Wednesday)
- Peri Plays C64 tank games vs. World Of Tanks [2020] (Friday)
So that's the plan for this week, and I should be able to complete next week's video ready for... next week!
Interesting and surreal times that we find ourselves in, however we have quite been enjoying the live gaming thanks to you guys in the chat and hope you have too. When everything returns to normal I will probably keep doing it once a week or at least every couple of weeks.

P.S. I had planned a live Lego C64 build but just realized the one I was going to dismantle has Leglue in it (Lego glue) so we'll have to Le-go of that idea until I can order a new set of bricks.

The algorithm has been just fine; business as usual :-) The interesting thing has been doing the live videos as the algorithm treats them differently. They don't get as many views after the transmission ends, but that's actually good because they aren't up to the standard of edited recipodes so I wouldn't want them leading the way as a testament of what ЯR is about. So all in all, it's quite a good balance right now. :-)

2020-04-13 06:49:18 +0000 UTCYep.. been waiting for some stuff my self from that part of Europe (I'm in Sweden).. things right now are as they are and I don't see why anyone would find the main video release beeing delayed as a problem. Take care and stay safe!
