Lightbrighting tests

Hi Patrons,
Here's a positive and open minded video where "My Mate Vince" tests the lightbrighting method from my recent video.
I won't spoil the outcome for you 😉
I've also addressed some of the repeated questions that are coming up in an FAQ below my video, albeit mainly from people who haven't actually watched my video before passing armchair scientist judgment on the method... 🤦♂️ Trolls gonna troll eh? FAQ: https://youtu.be/8P1OVj0IcqY
I'll be back soon with a lovely "Ashley Reacts" video for you! Thanks for everything you do.

It's all good sir. Those types don't actually watch the full video before judging the video. Do they bake cakes with half the recipe I wonder? The nice thing is others jumped in to defend and show their own results, on the threads I saw at least. Time will be kind to our little (re-)discovery of this method. Until then let's hope people remember "don't shoot the messenger" a little as they mature... 😉

Good shout on the twitter Q and A. I dropped my video on Reddit and was super excited to share your discovery along with my own results and got crucified. I know Reddit is salty at the best of times but my word did they crawl out of the woodwork. I feel partly responsible and hope I didn’t cause too many of them to give you grief!!!

"24 hours in the sun is worse than peroxide" makes no sense on its face.
Further, soon even the best plastics of the 70s and 80s will be deteriorating en masse on their own and peroxide will be counter-indicated. It's important to find a replacement now, when you still have the freedom to experiment.
From my collections care background, I'd think the ozone experiment would, however, be worse than UV (or peroxide). Not only because of metal oxidation, but because ozone is one of the most significant threats to polymers. As you discovered with the floppy drive in the Mac.
Also, ozone is probably the most dangerous to your health of all the alternatives. Ground-level ozone is a genuine mass killer.
