Surprisingly, getting THEC64 Mini inside the real C64 wasn't the difficult part... the faulty Keyrah adapter I waited 3 months for was. That's the device that converts the C64 keyboard output to a USB input hopefully compatible with the Mini. This project has taken a longer as a result.
The good news is it's looking very good now and I should have a video up this week, hopefully showing the real 1984 keyboard and joystick controlling the Mini on screen via glorious (?) HDMI! The photo above shows the cabling installed, and you know me... I made sure the original case wasn't modified or cut at all ๐
