Patreon exclusive: Building the RR logo on Locoscript
Added 2018-05-12 20:55:51 +0000 UTCHi Patreons! Just a quick little video of making the Retro Recipes logo on my Amstrad PCW using Locoscript Word Processor. Nothing fancy, but I wanted the 3 screens behind my intros when I speak to camera, to have the logo on them, in their own unique ways.
I have a light pen for the PCW, but it's not aligning correctly to the screen. (Let me know if you have any ideas!) If not I'll do a video fixing it ;)
In case you hadn't noticed, the logo is meant to evoke a "Space Invader" sprite, so just for fun in the video I place the flashing Locoscript cursor under the logo as a 'laser' :D
BTW I made the thumbnail for the video with a photo of the pen drawing of the logo that I recently added to my yellow cutting board. You'll see me making that briefly in the opening titles to tomorrow's video, entitled...
"Can you put a C64 in a dishwasher?"!

My idea is that I tell you my story, you get in love with it, you start writing it and then I tell you not and not and not, and also make it this way, this way, this way and you love it afterwards. Then we present it to the World and the rich producers out there also love it, then they take You as the main character ... and so on. But the main thing is that I have to be rich when the story ends, ok ? ;)
