Josh Allen Week 10 Full-Game Analysis

Kincaid's move in the last minute of the video is amazing! I've never seen that before.

the gift that keeps giving

Burrow has an excuse, though, which is that he was injured for part of the season. I admit, though, I expected the Chiefs offense to be more dominant this year.

Richard Smith

To be fair, the type of mistakes happening aren't all on the OC. The OC isn't responsible for guys dropping balls and fumbles, that goes more on position coach training. But a lot of their issues stem from Allen's regression for whatever reason, and won't be easily changed just because they have a new OC.

ShyGuy

To be fair this year has had really inconsistent QB play almost across the board. Both Mahomes and Burrow have had stinkers.

Noah

Agreed. That the special teams and defense both had unclutch plays suggests the next step up: that it's ultimately the head coach letting things get out of hand. The first recourse when the entire offense is sloppy and ineffectual for this long is that the OC has to go; if it continues after that, it trickles it's way up to the top, and then maybe it's time to get a full reset to make sure your elite QB stays elite.

Cameron Carver

I know you keep saying a lot of the sloppiness isn’t on the OC, but when an offense is making that many mistakes, and a team that was expected to go deep into the playoffs is 5-5, someone is going to get blamed. It can’t possibly all be bad luck and mental errors this far into the season. When I think of elite QBs in the league, I immediately think Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, but if Allen keeps playing like this, he’s going to fall off that list. He’s better than this, and that has to be on the coaches.

Richard Smith

Never stop with the Kenny Roger’s Chicken jokes.

Richard Smith

Love the breakdown, JT. The Bills do believe both of their tackles are athletic, and have pulled the LT pretty regularly. Has always felt they’ve had a limited run game, especially out of gun with 11 personnel, and their OL being more finesse than power. Keep up the good work!

Brad Hesch

Thanks for this

I’m certainly no expert but amazed at how much improved I feel I have become at reading the QB footwork in real time. I watched the MNF game and kept noticing how J. Allen, once he decides to move, seemingly always commits to 3,4,5 steps and then had to reset to throw. Loses continuity of the read. Confirmed by watching the QBSPC videos. Awesome content.

DeMeritus

Hoping this off season there will be a comprehensive analysis of various stadium concourse walkway opening security…

DeMeritus

Agreed. The move seems desperate.

Patrick

Thanks for this one!

Firing an OC mid season isn't always an indication that a team is in shambles, but it often is, and the guy is just a scapegoat... Would they have fired him if they had 11 players on the field on that missed Lutz FG? I have a feeling things could get worse for the Bills for the rest of the season... Or maybe they'll pull a 2012 Ravens, who knows

Was hoping to see this one after the end of that game. Thanks for this as always JT.
