I needed the money... but...

“By the way”, he stammered, humbly hunched over a large flopping black folder, “If you’d ever want to do photos like this in my studio…” he gestured while opening to the first page, “…I’ll pay you $125 per hour.”

The black floppy folder contained pretty pictures of young ladies like myself, but naked, in romantic gestures such as holding a rose, or reclining on a fluffy pillow. Tasteful… I confirmed to myself. We had just finished shooting fashion in the park, and I felt pretty safe with this guy… but I didn’t want to be belittled and forced into something I would regret again… that first experience left a really bad impression on me.

“Thanks… but no thanks…” I politely declined, while wincing at the loss of potential income… working in fast food and having to pay rent was a real struggle at the ripe age of 18.

But that’s not where our story ends… To be continued….
