Blasphemous Tomes Newsletter August 2021
Hey there friends,
Here are 9 things we thought were worth sharing this month:
- Coming soon: later this month we have an episode about the 1980 horror film, The Changeling. So if you want to check it out ahead of time, now's your chance.
- The Storytelling Collective’s 'Write Your First Adventure' course returns in November 2021 (registration opens in mid-October). There's a Call of Cthulhu track on the course written by Paul. You can read a report on the course here.
- Scott has an article on canon in the arts magazine Trubuchet.
- A Weekend With Good Friends (the online gaming convention on our Discord server) takes place this coming weekend, August 20-22. There are over 100 games running!
- Issue 7 of our fanzine, The Blasphemous Tome, is now printed and will be mailed this week. Codes for the POD option will also be going out soon.
- Talking of tomes, we welcome your submissions of art and writing (up to around 500 words) for issue 8, due at the end of this year. Please feel welcome to email us at: submissions@blasphemoustomes.com
- The Ain't Slayed Nobody actual play podcast are reaching their season finale. This is a great show with awesome production.
- Lynne Hardy talks about upcoming releases for Call of Cthulhu in this new Youtube video released this week.
