Thank you! (All New, Returning & Current Patrons)

Hello everyone,

After finally catching my breath a bit following the release of House of Leaves: Explored - Part 2 (and getting over a sudden bout of illness), I'm glad to jump on here and thank everyone again for being here and supporting the Patreon.

The House of Leaves project took a lot, in all senses: time, energy, effort, and resources, and that includes financial resources. The last time I spent this much for a video was when I covered Don't Hug Me, I'm Scared, so I really do have to thank you all for being here and supporting me as I went about this and believing in me.

Warning: House of Leaves: Explored Part 2 Spoiler below!

I'm also extremely happy about all the viewers and patrons who kept onto their hope following Part 1 and knew Pelican Black wasn't an accidental awful decision of mine; the whole project was built with major intention and design, and I was fully aware of the quality and appearance of the product.

(Because it was a Johnny story, so it had to look like one, including hints to not buy into it. It was both hilariously gratifying and also painfully disappointing to see so many viewers disparaging the work and declaring I had disrespected Mark Z. Danielewski in the comments for Part 1. In doing my best to work thematically with House of Leaves in the best way I could, I needed to observe the position I was in properly--and that was, effectively, that in this series, I was Johnny Truant. So, Johnny Truant had to do what Johnny Truant had to do, especially if I needed to be Nick Nocturne at the same time and prove a point while hitting several layers of theme in the novel.)

So, for all those who had hope and held out through Part 2 to see how things progressed, and to those who suspected I had a reason for what I chose to do in Part 1... thank you!

Part 3 coming soon! This, mercifully, will not be as long as either of the previous parts, I believe, so it also shouldn't take long to be finished. I really, truly want to continue rolling forward and end our journey before March is closed, really making a nice cap-off to the series as being one big House of Leaves celebration month.

Then we will have uploads each and every month until it's time to buckle down hard for the October workload, I swear. I don't want to take time away again for that long for awhile, and I'm so full of eagerness to do a bunch of new videos. I've already got my next one entirely in mind and I'm itching to get to it.
