It's The Good Friends, but as you've never them heard before
Added 2019-01-22 12:04:40 +0000 UTCWe recently asked for suggestions on what extras backers would like. One of them was a request for some of the cuttings that lay on the editing room floor. Well, it seemed simplest to release the full studio recording (to be honest there were still a few very minor edits).
So here it is. We're going to try this for a few episodes. This will remain a backer-only exclusive. You can still listen to the regular show through all the normal channels.

I concur with the others, hearing the all but uncut version does make me appreciate how complex the editing process must be. It was an interesting fly on the wall view of the process and I look forward to hearing more of them. As for the Westcountry "hate crime," for my part you're forgiven! It's probably the strychnine in the scrumpy but I see no harm in it. They do really respect The Wurzels down here though. When I worked in a local record shop the most Lovecraftian types would arrive on the day of a Wurzels release and demand a copy. One of them scared a member of staff so much she fled the sales floor!

If you keep posting both versions, I guess I'll just listen to the unedited version though, as it gives me more insight and understanding in the things you do and say on the show and I don't mind the repeats and outtakes at all.
