Update - Mika after a shower

tl;dr - I made a new Mika scene and I'm hoping to finish that Shizu scene for the next release.

This week's images

These are from a new scene I made this week of Mika getting out of the shower! I'll be putting the scene in the next update (hopefully with voice acting, too) alongside some other content.

These are upscaled to 4K and honestly I think the water on her skin looks a little more real in the non-upscaled version, but you'll see that for yourself in the game.

To make these images I used a variety of techniques I've developed over the years. I haven't really changed the software technology I'm using in the last five years on Patreon; I've just been very gradually getting better. These images felt quite skilful to me, involving a variety of techniques I've learned to achieve the effects I wanted without a ridiculous amount of work. What do you think? I'd like to know. :)

Next release

I'm still hoping to finish up that scene I showed last week with Shizu for the next release. Mostly I just need to write it and program it, but I try never to force the writing for a scene if I can help it. It's draining and produces worse results (although I still do it when I have to). I've added this Mika scene already - I still need to test it, but otherwise it's done - and with the Shizu scene and hopefully the new Mika date/flashback scenes that should be enough for a release. Still not quite ready, but on the way, at least.

Scenes like this Mika one are my favourite thing to make, in general, because they're just the little moments that feel like an interesting idea one morning, I can finish them within a couple of days and then they're done - a complete idea with a genuine appeal. I hope you like it! (Make sure to visit the bathroom in the next release if you're looking for the scene - I'm trying to add reasons to click on that room in the mini-map.)
