Update - Mika nude in the living room

tl;dr - I've been working on technical updates and implementing Hirai's gameplay; both are going pretty well.

If you receive emails from Patreon you probably got an incomplete version of this message in your email earlier - sorry about that, that was a bug in Patreon's drafting system and I was just trying to save it to finish later.

This week's images

The nude variants here are just things I made for this update because I could throw them together quickly, since I haven't actually been making a lot of new images for content over the last couple of weeks. I've been mostly writing and programming. The non-nude versions are the ones I plan to use for when Mika becomes a part of the actual gameplay. The nude ones are probably not going to be used for much of anything, but they're in 4K here, so enjoy!

The technical updates have gone well

So far the migration to the new patch of VN Maker actually has gone a lot more smoothly than I expected, so it seems like that's not going to significantly delay the next update now. There might still be some bugs from it that I haven't located, though, so please be aware of that and report anything that seems wrong or out of place in the game.

Apart from that, this update actually contains a range of other bug fixes, some from the VN Maker patch and others just from efforts I've been making to address some other problems. The audio leak "now loading" bug still isn't fixed, sadly, but I am trying something that could hypothetically (but probably won't) help out with that.

A few things I'm hoping are now fixed:

• The weird problem that clicks don't always register.
• Saved games breaking if they're made just before a choice.
• Jealousy fights cutting off the revelation of the subway.
• Incorrect messages about "love" or "trust" gains.

Implementing Hirai gameplay

My current task is to set up the way the Hirai scenes will function in the game. I'm trying to keep it somewhat simple so it doesn't disrupt the gameplay too much, but I haven't really tested my approach yet. We'll see if it works out.

As part of that process, because part of the mechanical incentive to let Hirai date the ladies is to help manage jealousy, I've decided that the girls should no longer stop gaining jealousy after their sex scenes. I think this still won't make it too hard even if you don't let Hirai date them, though.

All this is going reasonably well, but there's still a fair bit of work left to do on it. I'd expect even if I make several days' good progress in a row it still won't be out right away, so I'm sorry if the next update is a little later than I'd like. (It'll still be as early as I can make it and definitely next month some time, don't worry about that.)
