Internal poll - what are you currently looking for?
Added 2021-06-22 01:53:31 +0000 UTCNow that Super Mario World Widescreen was released I would like to hear what are your current interests for the next months.
This is important for having an idea about the expectations of all patrons. If possible, please pick at least one option. If none of the options interests you, please send a comment or message me.
The more votes, the more I will know about all patrons. You can vote more than one option.
I have put some techniques (SA-1, Super FX, etc.,) and games. If you are interested in e.g. U.N. Squadron SA-1, you can pick either SA-1, U.N. Squadron or both.

2021-06-22 10:14:26 +0000 UTCIβm so glad you made it a multiple selection poll, thereβs no way Iβd be able to choose just one thing! As cool as the widescreen stuff is, Iβm much more excited about you advancing your progress on the SuperFX and StarFox. And although I know many people have a very good reason to request you to remove slowdown from every shooter ever released for SNES, as that was a clear weak spot for the console compared to its competitors, I would prefer you to tackle a wide variety of games from different genres first and fill in the blanks of more obscure games as you go along.

2021-06-22 06:47:20 +0000 UTCMostly looking forward to your SA-1 and FastROM improvement hacks! Specially Return of Double Dragon (60 fps and more fluid gameplay), Ranma 1/2: Chougi Ranbu Hen, Sparkster, Final Fight 3 and BioMetal. Thanks a lot!!

2021-06-22 05:35:57 +0000 UTCI'm curious what the benefits of Super FX studies would be. The number of games that make use of Super FX or FX 2 are limited, and many emulators already offer an option to overclock Super FX. Would it be ambitious implementations like adapting games that never made use of Super FX, such as Race Drivin'? Or would it be things like optimizing the use of Super FX for performance gains without an overclock, or adding in SA-1 co-processor support?

2021-06-22 05:15:06 +0000 UTCIf by MiSTer cores you mean submitting a PR to support wide screen mods, I'd say that. Otherwise "any."

2021-06-22 04:09:18 +0000 UTCCurrently I feel it's important to make SMW Widescreen stable, with multiple options (21:9 and 16:9) and improve the widescreen specification before going to another widescreen game. Meanwhile, I'll advance a bit more on my Super FX studies and take one SA-1 project.
