January 7th - Update 2
Added 2019-01-07 23:23:10 +0000 UTCThings are looking good in both fields of creativity right now. Progress is being made on every front and I feel completely in tune with my vision and pursuits.
Scripting for Project Blue begins this week, which should take maybe three or four days, depending. A partner in the endeavor is onboard for the project for the full extent and just as excited as I am, which is excellent. Still need to tap a musician contact of mine on the shoulder and tell him it's go-time if he's willing to take up the mission.
The scripting process is going to be interesting, because for the first time since Don't Hug Me, I'm Scared: Explained, I'm going to require storyboarding. Once I've met with my on-camera partner for this, I can do full sequencing, but I'll be ready to move on to the process that necessitates video capture for new updates even before I do that, because a good amount of the storyboarding will be solely dependent on what I do and I can get started immediately.
Project Monochrome is also making strides. I'm already experiencing an odd euphoria in unexpected angles coming out of the beginning phase of the project, and as I work in the start phase, new ideas and "what if?" scenarios keep coming to me, molding the initial plan into a potential new direction. Meanwhile, bits of story you don't quite get suddenly unveil themselves and pieces fall into place after a good amount of shuffling around.
I think that every month, towards the end of the month, I'm going to have an update in recorded form somehow for Monochrome progress, and as soon as the scripting and "instantly ready for production" storyboarding are done, I'm going to launch into the "one video update per week till completion" idea for Project Blue updates.
I've never had a period in my life when I've been so perfectly balanced in love, attention, and effort for two projects at once. My brain is like a sniper scope: I can hone in on something at an extreme zoom, pick up all details, find the target, nail the mark--but it's going to be an effort switching the scope to a new target and adjusting accordingly for the same effect.
This is new for me, and it's been a long time coming. This is how I know the timing is finally right. Yes, I'm very excited, and I feel very good.
