Public Update + DOG PIC - It's almost the end of 2019!

It was really incredible. Other than the 2 postcard commissions (I hope they both got to you okay!!!) I did zero art or thinking about work for 2 whole weeks. It was so uncomfortable at first but this was my first vacation as an adult. I'm 35 and I feel like I've been busting ass for so long.
I posted a ton of pics over on my instagram - https://www.instagram.com/darkdeerinthewoods/ - and June and I checked in on our shared Discord, which has been a fun space for us to build with our mutuals.
My day job has continued to give me more responsibility which means more work which means less brain and energy for commissions. I'm feeling really confident about my choice to stop doing monthly Telegram stickers, as a monthly commitment is more than I can promise right now without it becoming ALL i do.
A few weeks ago June and I adopted a chihuahua/dachsund mix puppy named Richie. I've been missing having a dog since I didn't fight my ex for the dog I raised when we got divorced, and this little nugget is quickly growing into being a good buddy. We need to get behavioral training for him sooner rather than later - he has a bad habit of nipping hard on hands and faces (wtf!) that I need to nip in the bud.
The first snowfall happened here in Minneapolis and I'm even more thankful we don't have a car. I'd be losing my shit if June was driving every day and there's no way I could even attempt it.
