*Smack*

You know what's really awesome to deal with when you get off of a video and really look forward to working on all the new plans you have, getting Patreon supporter business together, and all that good stuff?

Picking up a migraine and sore throat. Nothing like a biological smack in the face to remind you there's no permanent high for a new upload.

Yeah, there's no rest for the wicked, I guess. I am like the living embodiment of the chorus for Chumbawumba's "Tubthumping" - or the universe desperately keeps pushing me to become it.

I'm going to be continuing correspondence with you guys in the Counsel tier and above for individual project discussion in-between bouts of sleep and mandatory work slots for the next video. I'd like to have it out by end of next week, give you all something cool to dig into over Christmas with fellow Jack Skellington types and cousins who also itch to tell their family about Krampus at the annual party.

Basically, business continues as normal over here, new video next week (unless this somehow turns into strep throat). Just wanted to let everyone know why I might be sluggish on Patreon correspondence.

By the way - for all those who understand my frustration and offense felt over comments putting down Night Vision as "lazy" work and that I'm not nearly as in-depth as I used to be, thank you. Night Vision has never been about cannibalizing someone's brand new series for my own benefit, as apparently, some people out there think I ought to be doing. NV exists to broadcast awareness of great new content I've picked up as a way of getting people to actually KNOW about it and check it out so that our field of art and storytelling can grow.

Creators who make something great who have only really just started and barely grown shouldn't ever have to worry about some channel with 200,000+ subscribers coming along and tearing their work open for 30-40 minutes in full detail, spoiling everything, and then happily walking away with ad revenue the creator can't even hope to make yet, leaving the original artist with a new audience who has seen their work, but now has no bearing on their own channel's view count, subscriber count, or core audience.

I am legitimately thinking that those annoyed/misunderstanding Night Vision are missing my Case File videos, and if that's what's happening, I can genuinely understand that. I haven't had an opportunity to make a CF since... honestly, April, when I did Cabin Fever Dreams, and those aren't even pure Case File videos due to topic freshness and the theme period they went under.

Balance will be returned shortly. I've addressed the issue in full on a new community post on YouTube that I'll also be posting on Tumblr and sharing through Twitter and Facebook.

The headache medication is kicking in and I'm feeling much more lucid. Time to get back to work. Thanks for reading, everyone!
