Patreon - Closing Commission Tier

Hello my darling patrons,

I wanted to give you all notice that I will be adjusting my Patreon starting in September by removing the $20 sticker level.

My day job has become really intense (I'm a high level manager at a software company now, can you even believe it????) and I have felt for a while that I am not giving what I can to this Patreon campaign. 

I want to continue doing small batches of commissions - but as is pretty apparent, I take -forever- to finish them. I don't know if I'll be able to take anything regularly for the forseeable future. 

Having consistent support has meant the world to me. I know I talked about it a little, but I was in such a bad place for so many years after my divorce. If you have been a part of this Patreon at all, know that you PERSONALLY are part of the reason I made it.

I will continue this Patreon as a tip jar and I may adjust tiers and such over the next few weeks to see if I can get this as a more tenable "fun money" structure, away from the "fuck im going to be homeless" structure it initially held. 

Some of you have been through it all with me - thank you. Genuinely, thank you. I tear up as I write this seeing how far we've come together. From a scared 30 year old living in a back room studio in Seattle to a more confident 35 year old in a nice downtown apartment in Minneapolis. It still can be hard at times, but it's absolutely incredible to think that perhaps in doing this I can allow myself some more time for personal art, and help encourage y'all to take part (or all!) of what you were giving me and give it to an artist who is struggling like I was. 

From the bottom of my heart - thank you for being a part of why I survived.

Note: I'm not going to be shutting down this Patreon, just adjusting it for what I'm currently able to deliver on. 

Note 2: I might also open up the discord more? would anyone mind?

Note 3: June and I are going to Japan in October. Neither of us have been on a big vacation as adults, and she's never left the country! I want to get my queue worked through so I can do a mini fundraiser for some extra spending money while we're there - It's been my dream to go to a maiko dinner in Kyoto since I was like 16, did you know its like $200 a person to attend one??? what the fuck
