(Also, I love the character work on Garfield and Odie. The difference between their YouTube channels. Garfield has very eclectic interests but doesn't seem to go too deep with any of them. He's also just very... of an era. While Odie's channel is mostly just tech demos mostly, showing his keen interest in developing his skills trying out FX, with a progression towards The Final Battle. Just struck me as very typical of that kind of friendship at that age - the friend who's more "cool" and posts tons of videos to try to be like the cool YouTubers, and who hangs out and does stuff with the more disciplined, hardworking friend, who's quieter and just trying to get his thing done)

Nice. I hadn't actually watched Lasagna Cat before. Spent a good hour or two watching all the old and new content, as well as the side channels, before continuing with your video. You made some good sense of it. Have to say, I'm just damned impressed with the long-range view of all this content and, as you say, the complete lack of ROI on it for them.
