Need Some Help With a Problem
Added 2022-08-28 21:16:37 +0000 UTCOkay, so I have a bit of an issue. I have the sketches for two months to do, which is a lot, but thanks to real life problems, they took a toll on me trying to get the sketches complete in a timely manner.
This led me to a realization that there's a problem with what I'm offering. While it's not hard for me to do these sketches, more and more Patrons will join the $5 and $10 tiers in order to get free sketches which, while I do appreciate will make work pile up more and more, and it will eventually become a lot to handle.
I'm not entirely sure how to deal with this, and I thought the sketches would be a great idea but they might end up being too much work. I would like to know if there could be a way for me to deal with this problem. I'm open to any suggestions you guys may have.

I feel it's best to pause the payments for everyone still waiting for their sketches until you finish things up. Also, wouldn't hurt to limit it to a few winners per month with a cool down period in between for each winner.

2022-08-30 04:42:46 +0000 UTCI think the big problem wasnt so much the fact there was a tier, but that this was open with 2 tiers that an unlimited amount of people can join on. I feel it should've been its own tier that was capped at a few people only, like 5 supporters only.

2022-08-29 15:53:42 +0000 UTCI'd say close the tier for now, finish the sketches in queue (dont take any for September or October), Then once you finish the queue, re-open a new tier that's a monthly entering for a raffle-- Maybe like, 3 winners per month, and if you win you can't enter again until five or six months have passed since winning. What do you think?

2022-08-29 15:37:10 +0000 UTCFeel like it would be better to restrict it to its own tier thats limited to a few people. That way there isn't so much in the backlog, especially if things happen in real life like right now. Currently, would be best to pause on the benefit and deal with the issues going on right now.
