Buttons & Reward Updates!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to make a quick mid-week update!

First of all thanks to everyone who made it to the hangout! It was loads of fun! If there was anyone who wanted to make it but couldn't this month, let me know if there's anything I can do to make next months hangout more accessible for you.

Now for the buttons! June's Barack Ojama button ends our second 3-month cycle of buttons, and unlike previous cycles where I had the patrons vote on designs, I had a pretty clear idea of what I wanted to do next, so I went with my gut. Pictured above are the designs for the next 3 months. We have Wolf Dangle in all his glory for July, the Get Fluffed button in August for my yugioh fans, and to celebrate the channel's birthday, a classic HL logo button, but with fundamental differences. These designs aren't yet finalized, so if anyone has any suggestions for how to make them better, or outright hates one of the designs let me know and I'll update them accordingly.

Finally, there's been a change to the way some of the rewards work:

$1 and $5 reward tiers have remained the same.

The $10 tier no longer recurs every month.  From now on how it will work is that you'll get your reward the first month you donate, and then if you want it again you must wait 3 months. Whether you want to continue donating during that lull, go down to a lower tier, or take a break from Patreon all together is up to you; all that matters is that you wait, not that you stay at the same level. Whatever the case you'll end up getting custom sleeves/decks/shout-outs every 4 months, or 3 times a year.

I had to do this, because unfortunately this reward proved to be more work than I could handle. I had to make and organize ~10 shout-outs, custom sleeves, and additional decks this month, which I can do, but it isn't really sustainable, and if the Patreon continues to grow I know I won't be able to keep up with it. This way I can spread out the work a bit so everyone can get their sleeves/decks without over burdening my work load.

Fortunately for those of you already on the Patreon this change doesn't start until next month, so even if you claimed a $10 reward this month, you will get another one next month. July will count as your first month in the cycle.

$25 reward tier remains the same.

$50 reward tier has been changed entirely. It used to be the game-of-the month club, but that idea never really caught on, and was a bit expensive. Instead the $50 tier now offers two rewards. First, $50 patrons get their name at the top of the list in the video descriptions. Previously this was done by seniority, and for everyone under $50 it will remain that way. Secondly $50 patrons can choose a $10 reward every month instead of having to wait. This way, people who really want a new pair of sleeves every month, or people who want to advertise through the shout-outs, still have an option, it's just more expensive.

Finally I've added a $100 tier, because someone suggested that I should. It has no reward, because I can't think of anything I could do worth $100, but it's there. If anyone has any ideas for rewards I could give let me know.

Hopefully you guys understand these changes and why I made them. Like with most things I do this is not set in stone, so if you have any suggestions or input on the subject feel free to let me know, and if you decide to leave the Patreon due to the reward change, I completely understand :)
