It's more a question of gesture than of tool. It takes a lot of practice to find the right way to achieve this effect, it took me years. If it helps, when you use the Brush mixer, imagine yourself mixing a cake batter in smooth, continuous motions. Adjust the sensitivity of the Brush mixer according to the way you exert pressure on your style, and find a suitable setting by doing a lot of tests :)
