So Pixiv has released what will be the terms starting December 15.
I have read over them a few times and while some things are clear, others aren't.
This is probably the important bit:
"Types of work (examples):
-Live action
-Photo-realistic work that could be mistaken for live action
-Works that cause concerns about whether their creation may have involved the victimization of living people or animals"
Well now. None of my work involves any of the above. While some of my renders are pushing it with realism, I am not about to win any awards for photo realism...
All in all, I think Pixiv is just trying to make the banks and big corps happy, and hopefully this is sufficient. At this time, I will be leaving my content in place, and keeping the new rules in mind as I create new content.
