Patreon Update - November 9th 2024

Good evening beautiful people ♥️

It's been a minute since the last Patreon update so today felt like a good day to sit down and write something for you all.

If there's anything I've learnt in the 2 and a half years since I started posting here on Patreon it's that I can rely on this community and for that I can't thank you enough. I really needed to take this week for myself and I knew I could do that with your full support and love.

I put a lot of pressure on myself as a creator to always be "on" and in doing that I've been neglecting myself and my own health - both mental and physical.

This week has allowed me time to step away from the pressures of creating and just live for a minute and it's not exactly been this glorious escape I hoped it would be but it has allowed me the headspace to rest a bit. To eat some nutrient rich foods, cleanse my body a bit, work hard in the gym and even go on my first run since my Achilles injury in 2023.

Having this time has allowed me to get back on track with my health and start honing in on my wider fitness goals for 2025 (the biggest of those is to compete in HYROX!)

My new role at work is A LOT. But, it's a lot in a good way. I am utilising my skills as a leader to an extent I have never had to before and I am finding that extremely fulfilling. It's put me in the spotlight for the wider company and could open up some wonderful opportunities for me down the line which is exciting to say the least. It's going to be a lot of work for me over the coming year but it will be worth it in the longterm.

I have been able to book some time away from work just before Black Friday and I have decided to take the jump and head somewhere new (I was considering heading back to Paris or Stockholm but decided against it). Instead I have decided to visit Bergen in Norway! It's one of the most photogenic places being so close to the Fjords and is surrounded by mountains I can hike. I am very, very excited to get away for a few days and explore somewhere new with the camera.

So now the big question is creating... what happens next?

in short, the answer to that is: I will be back next week! Whilst it was nice to step away I will always feel the pull to create content for this lovely community! So I will be sitting down to film over the next few days so we can finish Interview with the Vampire Season 1 and from there I will be creating a Heartstopper Season 3 review video before we jump head first into Agatha All Along as I am DYING to watch it.

That's all from me tonight - I am getting into bed now to finishing reading The Song of Achilles knowing the inevitability of the tears I am about to cry.
