Goooooood evening Patreon family,
Thank you so much for the grace with the lateness of this one - it's been MAD since I got back from the states but tonight we are taking the final steps in our Young Royals journey with the Young Royals Foever documentary.
Time to say goodbye to this incredible show π
Love, always!
It's a actually a quote from Dr. Seuss, I believe, but wise and fitting nonetheless <3

Thank you for this ππ».
Edvinβs methods for acting is how he does playlists for each scens that he is in. His playlists for his character Wilhelm is on spotify. Season 1 is called W1, season 2 is called W2 and season 3 is called W3 π. Edvin has said in an interview that he has photografic memory and almost just needs to look at a script one time to memories it. Edvin has also said many vise things during the years and one recently was about the end of Young Royals ππ: β Donβt cry because itβs over, smile because it happend. So beautiful put β€οΈ.

Thank you, Jackie. I have so enjoyed being on this Young Royals journey with you! Never could I have imagined the impact this show would have on me when I first pressed play last July (knowing practically nothing about it!) I've met some wonderful people through the fandom, travelled to Stockholm for the first time in February to see Omar's concert, met Omar (beautiful inside and out) and will be returning to Stockholm at the end of next month to see him in concert again. Oh, and I even got my very own Wille heart tattoo on my hand (my first ever tattoo!) Young Royals forever!!!

I am sooo happy I found your patreon, I have cried with you for every episode now (even though it's like the 10th time I see it).
I just want to say that you are truly the best reactor I've ever watched! You actually watch properly, you pause if you have to say something, so you don't miss stuff, and you know who the actors and writers are (and appreciate them). You sincerely seem to care about the show and the characters, and that is very appreciated!
Either way, THANK YOU so much for your reactions videos, and for this last reaction, even though you already watched it.

awesome reaction and thanks for your insights! :] love this documentary and i agree it was a good watch immediately after season 3 ended to kind of wrap things up and smile and be happy.
haha omar seems so chaotic. doesn't really know the lines when edvins getting his hair dyed .. and always being clumsy. im surprised they got through 3 seasons!
from a person who knows nothing about acting - the one example of "method acting" which i was aware of was heath ledger for his role of "the joker" in the dark knight. jack nicholson had warned him about playing "the joker" and the methods he was using.
kinda struck close to home for me (literally) as i live in perth, western australia and ledger went to school a few minutes from my house. ive got friends who went to school with him which is surreal.

Thank you for this reaction, watching it this time didnβt hit me quite as hard, though I think I watched it directly after the final episode where I was already wrecked emotionally.
I am glad I went on this journey with you and look forward to all the amazing shows we have yet to discover with you!
P.S. the purple looks amazing on you!

For once, I am not going to post a long analytical comment π This show gripped me unexpectedly in season 1 episode 3 and wouldnβt let go. I doubt it ever will. Watching the documentary made me realise just how much the process of making the series meant to the cast, the crew, the writers, everyone involved in creating something so special and how powerfully it affected their lives, especially Edvin and Omar. I have watched a lot of excellent shows, but I can definitely say that none have touched me in the way that Young Royals has done. Magical. β€οΈπβ€οΈ

This really is a terrific documentary look at behind-the-scenes of the final season. Some of the moments I particularly love are when you see actors who play characters who do not get along in the show and see them hanging out together and enjoying each otherβs company, because it reminds us that our feelings about the characters are not our feelings about the actors. And it emphasizes how convincing they are as their characters that it seems strange to see Omar walking along with the characters who play Vincent and Nils. It is wonderful to see how invested they all are in this show and are as moved about it as we are watching it. Young Royals deserves all the success that it has.

Having watched this show from the first week of July 2021 and rewatched it and all the cast and crew interviews in print media, on tiktoks, on Instagram lives (going on lives with Lisa and Sara Arrhusius the Intimacy Co-ordinator as they discussed this show was incredible), I am so grateful for how generous of their time and about their craft this creators of this show were. This documentary is just a small snippet of how much behind the scenes and deep talks content we got. Forever grateful for YR ππ

The fact that it was Omar's first ever acting role is impressive, but when you see the scene with Edvin dyeing his hair and how chaotic his scene study seems to be - you can't take enough hats off to this person. Apart from the fact that he also managed to look younger in each season than the previous one :D

That was SO Beautiful!! Thank you for this treat Jackie!
I loved seeing the behind the scene work.
I loved seeing the actors out of character. This season showed so much growth! I think it was Feliceβs actor said that it ended with Dignity and thatβs the perfect description!
