I saw this on YouTube and I found it quite interesting. Some people are asking how realistic it is that the Crown Prince dates or possible gets married to a commoner with a career in music. Nelly-44 wrote "In Sweden is very realistic, actually... The current Crown Princess of Sweden married her personal trainer from a local gym and her brother, the back-up Prince married a reality TV star...".

2023-10-22 21:46:38 +0000 UTCIngrid - that's possible of course, but the only thing that I would say is that Wilhelm didn't look at all stressed here, but seemed fairly relaxed which maybe tells us that either whatever they're going to confront is not too much of a big issue or Wille has so much more confidence now that things have progressed that he has more than enough courage to confront virtually any scenario. Just specualtion of course!

It was an unexpected treat to get this brief scene, and it absolutely raises lots of questions about what’s going to happen in the third season. I’m sure people are going to be making all kinds of speculations about what’s coming, and I’m sure at least half of them are going to be completely wrong.

You can instantly tell from his eyes and smile that Wille is looking at Simon before the camera shows us Simon looking in the mirror. His facial expressions throughout this little scene are almost identical to season 1 episode 5, when he went to Simon’s room for the first time, asking him about the fish, then putting his arms around him from behind. In a way, it’s another one of the parallels that Young Royals does so well. Here’s another. The dream Wille refers to is the first few moments of season 2, in which he dreams that he and Simon are making love. It was the first 4 minutes teaser, released early by Netflix, just like this one, after which he woke up to the cold reality of being in bed in the palace but without Simon, hearing the maid hoovering outside his room. We may not know exactly what the cold reality is this time but in some stills shots I saw, Malte was there too, so it could be a crisis meeting with Linda, Simon’s Mum there too, to discuss the situation. The elephant in the room is Sara. Do they know yet that she called the police and said she wanted to report a crime at the end of season 2? And I too love that Simon is wearing purple. They’re going to need to be strong and hold fast to each other In what promises to be an explosive situation, so that symbolism bodes well. I do re-read Heartstopper volumes, but although I understand what you mean about Young Royals being an original series, so there’s no literature to be invested in, speaking as someone who’s regularly re-watching Young Royals, I am still as invested as the moment I first got hooked- roundabout the end of episode 2 in season 1 and it’s so well written, beautifully shot and the acting so next-level that it never gets stale. Last comment: their chemistry is really something special, even in a tiny snippet like this. ❤️👑❤️🫠

2023-10-20 21:51:10 +0000 UTCloved your reaction to this "first look." absolutely amazing scene, but it begs so many questions. of course, edvin and omar's acting and chemistry is as incredible as ever!! i am concerned about the dialog as you pointed out though. i feel like it is really serious.. because of the serious glances they both have when simon mentions about it not being how he'd hoped it would be. also, with his mother there.. it makes you wonder what it is. the fact they're the ones they'll be waiting on obviously means that it's something to do with them both or their relationship. could it also be something to do with august? could it be that something has happened with august in relation to sara saying she would contact the police.. and maybe the "drug thing" has come out? initially, i thought about it being just simon's family meeting wille's family - but the fact is.. simon's mum and wille's parents were all at the school for the day when wille made the speech. it also seems as if the palace is a distance from the school... because wille's family drove to hillerska and stayed there the night before the jubilee. is it a case of them needing to return to the palace and formulate a plan about the way forward from there before addressing their relationship / simons mum? i feel they would have possibly just met at the jubilee if that was the case.. but maybe not? agree with the timing. hoped it would be this year, but in hindsight, the sooner it comes, the sooner it is over. hopefully we get it in the early part of 2024 before the final plunge!

I am sure they will drop other little snippets to us over the next few months, Netflix knows how to draw us in and then leave us desperate for more...
