2023-10-11 00:36:22 +0000 UTCI am definitely enjoying discovering the show along with you. The absurdity of so much of it really fits in with my sense of humor. As it happens, the musical theater channel I listen to in my car played “Movie in My Mind” just yesterday. “Miss Saigon” is not a show I really know much about, apart from the songs I’ve heard on that channel; as much as I like “Les Misérables,” I’ve never really sought out the other shows from the same writers. I do remember the show being very controversial when it played on Broadway, and maybe that kept me from being interested in it. I am familiar with a lot of musical theatre, but this is one of the holes in my knowledge.
