About the Manga

Plot
- The demon lord troops wanna take over the world and the only ones stopping them are “the reincarnates.” People from our world who got hit by a bus and ended up in a fantasy world with magical bullshit “cheat” powers that let them do whatever they want. Lydia and Lute are two village kids talking about how cool the reincarnates are. Lute says he wants to join them and Lydia more or less says she’s got a crush on him. Lute then notices that there’s a fire in the village when a guy comes up from behind and snaps his neck. Lute wakes up to see Lydia’s corpse being raped by a reincarnate called “God’s mistake: Louis Crawford” and isekai sensei will now explain who he’s supposed to be.
- Lute then passes out again and we see a meeting between “the best 9” reincarnates who are all parodies of famous isekai characters. A girl named Flare (obviously Aqua from Konosuba) says they gotta stop the demon lord troops, but Louis says he just wants to kill people and do whatever he wants. He pulls out his sword that has “kill” written on it when a voice tells him to chill the fuck out. He’s like “it’s just a prank bro I’m just joking” and backs down. Lute wakes up again to find a witch who heals him. She asks him if he wants to kill the reincarnates. He does but doesn’t think it’s possible. She tells him that the reincarnates were just losers in their world who got reincarnated with magic powers. This includes Louis who was a fuckin gross nerd that played hentai games all day and probably posted edgy shit on racist message boards.
- The witch tells Lute she’ll teach him everything he needs to know about killing them. Lute then stands outside of a big castle where Louis is with his goal being to bring him to her. He walks in on Louis sexually assaulting two girls and he immediately attacks Lute, recognizing him from the village. Lute calls him a NEET and Louis is like what the fuck how do you even know what that word means? Lute then asks him to talk about it over tea, which is a trick to bring him to the Witch.

The plot itself is pretty lazy
Wait what the fuck is with this rape scene
I think this really established the 9 way too fast, like you could drip feed the parody
Is this plot literally the boys?
Some of the parodies are weird like Subaru and Aqua are both useless in their world and making fun of Konosuba is just weird

What it did well - Brad

Art is very solid I like the color pages
Some of the parodies are so stupid it’s great like Subaru -> Honda
I like the idea of having to take down evil versions of famous isekai protags but this aint it

Where it could have gone - Jordan

Honestly this needed to be much lighter in tone, though how do you parody konosuba?
