Kali Chand's remarkable early run on this Grapple Day came to a screeching halt when she faced Sam Foster, last year's champion. Kali struggled to make any offensive progress, working herself into a full-on rage. Meanwhile, Sam simply waited for her opponent to tire herself out. It didn't take long. The whole crowd could tell that, when Sam finally did begin her attack, things were going to get very bad for Kali indeed.
