Announcement - End of the Month and Chapter Delay

Hello everyone!

I said I want to do a post to talk about things for this month and here it is.

First of all, real life is hitting right now and I haven't started writing today's chapter. Disregarding that I also need to do some housework which I might just push to tomorrow... That means: No chapter today. Probably. I'll try to get some writing done but it's likely gonna be out tomorrow instead. 

That's the immediate stuff. Now, for my long-term plans: I have started on the rewrite, as you know, but my progress is very slow. I'm still at chapter 12. The hard parts all all right there. I just need to get to it. And I will, soon. The result is that I won't have the rewrite ready next month as I originally planned. Right now I'm aiming for late September/October. That's still going to be difficult with my two big exams being early and mid September but I'll get some work done next month, I promise! Latest release date I would be satisfied with is the first week of December. If I don't have the book on the Amazon E-shop by then, I'm going to be disappointed in myself. For an additional note, I decided I will never put my story up on KU. That means, it will always be available on RR and the downloads for the rewrite are going to stay up on Patreon once I get it done. I'm even considering to put the rewrite up on RR something like half a year after it's released. We'll see...

The new project, or Dole as it's titled right now, isn't progressing either. It's really looking like something for after Owlnother World. The rewrite is simply more important to me right now and I can't even find time for that.

That's about it for the bad news. The good news are: Owlnother World is progressing smoothly and I'm very happy with how it's turning out. All your feedback and the increased engagement in the comments make me happy as well. And even my financial situation isn't looking too bad right now. It's not great but it's stable at least. I might have to borrow some money for next semester's health insurance from my parents but even there is a good chance I won't need to do that. So thank you all for your support. You bring me happiness and food. Which brings me happiness too. So, double happiness! Yay!

I don't really have much more to talk about. Next month will reach the full 30 chapters ahead for Great Horned Owl which is definitely an achievement. I believe I'll be reducing to 3 per week for everyone when we get there and put some more time into the rewrite until I need to start preparing for exams. Which will be sometime in August most likely. I'm still waiting on the dates for 2 of my easier exams...

Anyway! Thank you all once again for being awesome! I hope you will continue to enjoy my story and keep giving me feedback! I love it when you are invested in Fio and what she's doing. And don't hesitate to tell me when I mess up. Sometimes I need a reminder to keep me on track. Once again, chapters are going up tomorrow. I'm gonna go get my groceries now.
