Strangers On Paper - Devlog #2
Added 2022-12-31 16:05:46 +0000 UTCCreatively speaking, this year has been amazing. There is so much we have learned and can't wait to share with the world. It's been a bumpy road for sure, but anything that's worth working on will pose a few challenges.
I think some of the main takeways from these past few months would be:
- Don't be afraid to be ambitious, but also know when to stop overthinking things (spending a whole hour choosing and placing Becca's tattoos may have been a little bit too much... but hell, it was fun)
- Let's not underestimate ourselves - we gotta stop putting our work down and take pride in what we have accomplished so far.
- Please stop underestimating how fast you can get something done. LOL, that's all I'll say.
And probably the most important one that we will have to keep telling ourselves each day and pretty much summarizes all of the above: This is our first project. It doesn't have to be perfect, yet we're on the road for something good. Enjoy the journey!
Now, as for some formal updates regarding the game's development:
- All writing for Chapter 1 has been completed. Still pushing for including Elizabeth though :)
- Very detalied outlines for Amy and Becca's full journey have been completed.
- All scenes from the introduction have been rendered and programmed.
- All scenes from Amy's chapter have been rendered.
Can't wait to see what this new year will bring!
